                                          Hiya, and merry meet! :)

I live in the High Sierra Desert. I am in Nevada~ right on the bend where

it meets California. Only a couple of miles from the actual stateline. Most

people can associate my area by a major landmark of Lake Tahoe. But I live right

next to Lake Topaz. Tahoe is about 30 minutes up the sierras  to the west from

me. My home sits at 5200 elevation. But there are points much greater in scale

then mine.

As a picturistic view I'm literally in a blend of high desert to the east

meets the Toiyobe Forrest of waterfalls, lakes, rivers and redwoods of the west.

Casinos are to the north for town and entertainment ( which is a drive ) and

south is the beautiful landscapes of California.. with canyons, valleys, Mammoth

Lakes, Mono Lake, camp sites, and then on downward to 29 Palms, Death Valley

where you spit out at L.A county (10 hours south).

We are a high percent area for travelers, campers, outdoorsman etc.

Im just a solitary spiritual chick weaving thru her own tapistry.

Faeriespirit,

I too am a " solitary spiritual chick " .   Just want to say that your writing,

your description & your imagery are also " beautifully woven tapistries " .   It

gives me a sense of peace just to

read about your wonderful home and the joy of nature you experience.  So poetic.

Thank you for your sharing all this.    Jackie
