        I can so relate to some of the things you have encountered. I have tried

different things and took a course called 'Cabin Fever' 10 years ago.

A psychologist affiliated with Camp Pendleton came up to do a study on the

emotional states of the spouces of Marines and the isolation we live amungst up

here in the sierra mountain away from civilization like most have amungst them. 

        This Dr. had brought her Boes System and she experimented on the marine

wives thru this study she had developed. She played opera as we were to have our

eyes open and after the song we were to each speak what we felt. Then she played

another piece and said for us to close our eyes and then after the song we were

to speak what we felt and saw. Then we were to listen to a third piece with our

eyes closed and then draw what we saw after the piece was played. And it gave me

a first hand look on how much music effects our emotional state when we arent

intuned with our subconscious and unconscious mind states. And just how easy it

is to re rupture our moments or memories that affected us from the previous time

and space thru signals. It was quiet amazing as each story flooded out of the

woman and had them in such an emotional state of pent up variations of feel.

      My girlfriend studied meditation and began to teach me just how to get to

that state and to keep the consciousness awake and not to fall into sleep mode.

It gave me a sence of excaping and calming the relations we have in life that

affect us tremendiously. And widened my eyes.

   A lil bit of help I can add to this piece is to project a white light.

Imagine a white light being poured over your head if you are sitten in indian

style, or if lying imagine it comming from above and its saturating you and as

you imagine this you make the aura of yourself expand. Breathing techniques can

be guided by a meditative c.d where you can follow each command telling you to

relax your eyes and let them fall and then imazingly you will drop the tension.

Its funny cause you can say I am relaxed but when your told to go thru your

sences and thru each body muscle on downward you will release the holding. Do

this from your head to your feet. Acknowledging each segment.

   Then begin with the counting, visualizing the numbers as you go thru each

one. And pear from your third eye. Yes it will take time to develop your reach.

But it takes a collective ability to control the normal we are used to working

with.

   I am still learning how to step thru the third eye and not just see the tree

tops as if I am lying on the ground. I cant figure how to get up and step thru.

So this is my issue. I know I have seen figures moving before me and they are

most likely my guides, but its hard to figure out ok now how do I proceed from

here?

   I do not know how many of you have totem animals but they can assist you and

protect you as your guides can. Weather if your pathways is thru religion or a

spiritual pathway. Use what your heart believes. Your not alone. You simply

expanding more of your mind and learning to open doorways.

   Crystals work very well. You can line them up on you or around you. Some

people even use candles and specific color patterns for what they are trying to

do or accomplish. But you have to keep in mind the safety if you fall asleep you

have fire around you. So I dont suggest using candles until you have developed

an understanding of how you are able to still be aware of your surroundings and

not having it affect you conscious strance relaxation.

   You may even astral travel. My vision is still fuzzy on this one but Ive

accomplished it with a buddy on the phone whom lives across the states from me

and to prove that I really did it he said Fae why were you constantly looking at

your feet as I held your hand? ( which i was!) So I said, ok, then whats

direction was I facing and he said East ( which I was!) And I asked ok, then

what is over in this direction and he said a close mountain with rock on one

edgeline. ( which is fact!) ... then when we went up, I was blown away as to how

fast we were passing the stars... I tried hard to focus on them and he said yes

we were moving fast. Then when we were almost to the destination he wanted to

show me, my husband came home on his loud motorcycle and I instantaniously

released his hand and dropped back into my body. Yeah what a total bummer...

   So I was consciously aware of my outter but not focused to it. But the pipes

on the bike vibrated to intensily I broke concentration.

   If you think about it when we are stressed we are taught to count and

breath.. With meditation you are doing the same only you are quieting the body

outside to in and inside to out. Thru the conscious mind. And we can go deeper.

And excape or blend two times and space at the same equiviliant time. Body is in

one.. and the Souls in another.

   Dont freak out on the astral you do it every night while sleeping. Some of

you may already know that some dreams are far too real verses the ones your

consciousness strings together from bits and pieces of emotions or memories.

   Just remember to draw in your white light of God/ Goddess/ Guides or Angels.

Hi Faeriesspirit...

 

Thank you for your post... i'm beginning to work with meditation... guided

visualizations, meeting guides... using crystals, chanting, also reiki.  I do

have a hard time with my spirit guides, I think i get overwhelmed and I usually

receive images which can take awhile to decipher.  It was interesting too to

read your post today because I can related to what it's like to be involved with

a man in the military and the kind of isolation that it can make you feel...

it's like it builds up over time, and it's a lot to bear.... i've found that for

me it's made me a little to dependent on psychics and less trusting of my own

inner resources...
