I hope this finds you all having a wonderfilled weekend!

 

A question for the group - might anyone here know where I can purchase the

digital version of Crystal Journey: A Travel Guide for the New Shaman by JaneAnn

Dow? A friend introduced me to a print copy of it several years ago and in the

years since then it's gone out of print. Ms. Dow offered the electronic version

for purchase and download on her website for a time but she passed away almost a

year ago (Sept. 13, 2008) and since then her site has disappeared and the domain

name is up for sale. A note - I'm not looking for a 'free' copy and am willing

to pay a fair price, I just can't possibly afford the prices used copies of the

print version are selling for. Any help will be appreciated.

Though it is very interesting It has been along time since I read it

and it never became one of the ones I refer to.

a lot of the work seemed to be more suited for a professional

Psychologist than for the average practitioner.

I'll have to take another look at it. I got my copy for a reasonable

price a few years back but usually the price is through the roof .

There are a couple 'gently used' copies listed in the $60 to $80 range and I

called the stores but it seems that they couldn't find the books though even the

less expensive ones are beyond what I can pay all at once and I hoped they'd

perhaps have a layaway system so I could pay for it over a couple of months. I

did find that the book was digitized at the University of California and I tried

to access their archives but couldn't figure out how/where/what I had to do/go

for bringing up their files. I sent an email explaining that I'd like to apply

for access to the book and perhaps that will help. All I really want to do is

read and learn so even if it can't be downloaded I'd be happy to just read

certain sections of it.

 

As far as 'needing' this book goes, I have a wonderful library on my own

bookshelves and there's a great wealth of info available here in the files

thanks to you (Peggy) and many other places on the web, so in reality, I don't

need it but since I'm now disabled and somewhat 'mobility challenged' I have

lots of time to read and learn.
