Guest guest
Tom, This is not a crystal... but what I use for knee joint pain is Himalayan Gochi Juice. If I do not take this, I need to wear those pull over supports for both of my knees but when I use it, I don't even think about it! It is also good for the moods... http://freelife.com/gochi/usa/nextgen.html In gratitude, John Van Rees http://www.exquisitecrystals.com > > > My dad is going through major health issues, and it's been tough to > find anything that works. > > Dad had heart surgery about five years ago, and it really was hard on > his body, mind, and spirit. Guest guest
Hi Tom Have you ever tried Bowen therapy for physical pain? I have found it worked really well for me when nothing else would i had jaw problems and pain all up the right side of my body sore hip, ankle, neck etc i was in miss alignment and the slightest thing would trigger me off and was not sleeping porpperly either. Also Healing or reiki if you can find a really good holistic therapist, or healer that will work on all levels physical, mental, emotional. If you would like distant healing - Reiki just let me know and i will send some. Guest guest
He is on blood thinners and many other medications. I'm asking everyone to continue brainstorming on this. I'm hoping someone here has a lot of experience and may have dealt with this before. , John Van Rees <john wrote: > > Tom.... > > Almost forgot though... don't have him use this if he is taking coumadin > > John Van Rees > > > > > > > > My dad is going through major health issues, and it's been tough to > > find anything that works. > > > > Dad had heart surgery about five years ago, and it really was hard on > > his body, mind, and spirit. Guest guest
Aloha Tom. . . Blissings to your father and you. It is a gift that you are so caring and so close to him. It is difficult to see someone you love be in pain and it often leaves us feeling helpless. Life is a journey with many changes and transitions. Bless you for being there. Hopefully you will get guidance and answers that are effective. My choice when in doubt about possible solutions is to use pendulum. This can be a great choice when number of possibilities is overwhelming and it seems important to have and immediate answer. You can easily make a 'pie chart' putting possible options and ask for pendulum held slightly above the center to point to answer to question " what is best for highest good of all beings concerned " . You can place whatever healing or thereapy options you are considering or suggested in each section of chart. Same methods can be used to assist in selecting stoes that might be beneficial. I find it much more accurate than used method of what someone else thinks is right or what is suggested in a book. There are directions at our website that make using a pendulum for first time easy, but you may also want to find someone a little practiced to show you just how refined you can make your questions. I want I can send you a document that needs to be printed out that gives guidelines on many ways to easily use. Be sure to take care of yourself in this process. Breathe and exercise, connect with others that you can talk about and share your concerns with. A site called www.carepages.com give excellent support to those taking care of ill or recovering family members. You may e able to connect with information on what you're father is experiencing there or connect with someone else dealing with same. It comes from an allopathic background but offers much holistic support as well. Wish I could share, more. Guest guest
Aloha Tom, Angela and All . . . Thanks Angela for guidance given Tom. I don't mean to go over the top with doom and gloom. As a caregiver I have worked with many using holistic approaches, in fact encouraged that they work with a holistic practitioner as their primary 'doctor' rather than simply self medicate. By following treatment plans offered along with assistance in changing lifestyle and diet nearly everyone saw great benefit and returned to a level of health much better than before beginning treatment. The challenge sometimes is finding someone local to them and sometimes cost as most insurance doesn't cover. It is still worth finding a way to make it happen My own choice for last 20 years has been holistic and I have always gotten effective results quickly. There are a number of on line directories for locating naturopaths, one being www.heartspring.net, another being www.alternativesforhealing.cim. Hopefully you can connect with one. May I suggest finding a Naturopathic Doctor/Physician. This is someone who has allopathic medical training as well as holistic. This person will be familiar with the medications your Father is taking and understand how to balance the proper herbs/supplements with the meds he's on. My feeling is you really need an integrative doctor. One or the other with not suffice unless they work together as a team. Be wise in your selection when finding a N.D. - some traditional naturopaths label themselves as " doctors " when that is false & misleading. In this country you are not allowed to use the term " Doctor " unless you've gone to medical school - right or wrong as that may seem. Guest guest
Dear Tom, I am responding to your post dated 5th. June, 2009 in our group. From what you say your father is immediately in need of detoxification. I suggest you check out www.oilpulling.com for a simple treatment for de-toxification. Probably that will help him. Give it a try. Naresh Re: Seeking help for my father Posted by: " Tom " reflexology reflexology Fri Jun 5, 2009 10:33 pm (PDT) Thanks. My problem right now is that I don't even have viable options to test for. Dad's decline has been so sharp and so complicated that I just don't know where to go or what therapies to consider. Homeopathy failed, and the practitioner said that she's convinced my father is toxic, but she doesn't know what to do for him. If anyone can help me piece this together, I'll appreciate the help. Guest guest
Thanks for the reply. We already went to an integrated medicine doctor, and he really wasn't all that helpful. He just couldn't come up with any good strategies for helping my father to recover while also navigating through his current medical issues. I still think help can be found for my dad, but I'm not quite sure what to look for. Tom
