Guest guest
Hi Kelly, I do believe when your crystal breaks it has absorbed some bad energy and its protecting you from it. A Chinese reiki healer told me this. now if the crystal has broken into pieces or cracked then it must not be worn anymore as it already has done its duty and must be send back to nature.if nothing has happened to the stone then just have it cleansed. crystals are just so amazing, i wear like 4 or 5 on my wrist. lights and love.. sari --- On Sun, 27/12/09, Kelly <meditationexp wrote: Kelly <meditationexp [CrystalHW] Flourite Broke Received: Sunday, 27 December, 2009, 6:54 PM Â Hi Everyone, My flourite pendant just broke, it is a point with a blue topaz set into the silver holder for the point, and last night when i was taking it off the bottom half of the flourite just fell off.... it was so strange, i mean i've had a rose quartz break from dropping it but never a crystals that just comes apart out of the clear blue... do these flourites just break naturally or can stress make them break, like when the crystal is doing a lot of work can it break on you... also what would cause it to break more, the energies around you that it's trying to disperse, emotional pain, physical pain.... the reason why i ask is i've only had this pendant since May so it seemed like it would last a little long, but oh well, off to get a new one today... but i was suprised how upsed i was when this one broke... it just has so much become a part of me Kelly ______________________________\ __ See what's on at the movies in your area. Guest guest
Kelly, I don't mean to be a party pooper... however.. ;-) Structurally Fluorite is very weak. It breaks (cleaves) very easily. When we buy fluorite hearts or other shapes, they are very prone to breaking where the colors change ( if it is rainbow fluorite). If it is a solid color piece it will find it's weakest point to break. Many of the fluorite octahedrons we see are clusters of fluorite that have been cleaved. When I moved into my new house this past summer, the only piece that broke on me was a large purple fluorite cluster. I now have 3 clusters rather than one. I love this piece... it was the very first large piece I bought. (it was like $350 10 years ago!). It just broke where the cleave lines ( joints of crystals) were. Sometimes things just break. Sometimes things have meanings behind it. However I don't believe that everything always has a meaning. What do YOU think? Guest guest
Well said John. Kelly, do look at what fluorite is for in it's healing properties, review why this pendant came to you and review what has been going on in your life since you started wearing the pendant (and also how often you have worn it). It is possible that it was overworked but it is also possible due to it's more delicate nature that if you wore it often, it bumped into things when you bent over (and you didn't realize it) or had pressure put against it when you carried arm fulls of stuff. Review and determine if you feel it just happened or it was overworked. Blessings to your day all. Guest guest
I've never had a flourite break, but I am careful with my stones. Actually I've never had a crystal break at all. Though I have had wine glasses break, (perhaps a hint from above to stop drinking, lol!) I agree with John to some extent but I think that sometimes things do have meanings behind them. For example, have you ever been confronted by a series of seemingly unrelated coincidences only to discover that something wasn't a coincidence? Guest guest
Hi Kelly, I just want to add to John's bit that Fluorite can also cleave with extreme cold or heat...very easily. You can wash a piece of fluorite (if you were to) under cold or hot water and it can cleave that way.... Enjoy the holidaze..... Guest guest
My fiancee was in the midst of a Crystal Healing when the yellow flourite crystal laying on his heart just suddenly snapped in two. Our healer suggested that he go and get his Heart checked. Turned out that he'd had Heart Failure as well as anuyrisms on the aeorta, and he'd been having some difficulty breathing due to his lungs being in the process of filling up with blood. He went into the hospital on May 29 only to never come home to me again. He died that July.      So I definetly believe that it was the bad and too-strong energies his heart was throwing out that agitated the Flourite Crystal,  it was just too much. The intense energies from his heart just finally over-powered the Flourite and caused that crystal to just SNAP.      I've read here where a couple of people have mentioned having a Crystal suddenly break during a healing and I believe they said they threw the broken crystal out.     Just to share, I kept both pieces of the broken Flourite. For me personally, I can't bring myself to throw it away. I kind of love that broken piece because I too see it as alive. And I feel as though that Flourite sort of " gave its life " and broke so that it could give us the message that something was wrong.       JACKIE             --- On Sun, 12/27/09, Kelly <meditationexp wrote: Kelly <meditationexp [CrystalHW] Flourite Broke Sunday, December 27, 2009, 12:54 PM  Hi Everyone, My flourite pendant just broke, it is a point with a blue topaz set into the silver holder for the point, and last night when i was taking it off the bottom half of the flourite just fell off.... it was so strange, i mean i've had a rose quartz break from dropping it but never a crystals that just comes apart out of the clear blue... do these flourites just break naturally or can stress make them break, like when the crystal is doing a lot of work can it break on you... also what would cause it to break more, the energies around you that it's trying to disperse, emotional pain, physical pain.... the reason why i ask is i've only had this pendant since May so it seemed like it would last a little long, but oh well, off to get a new one today... but i was suprised how upsed i was when this one broke... it just has so much become a part of me Kelly
