Guest guest
Good afternoon, all, I'm Keri in Oklahoma, and am new to the list and to stonework in general. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify a rock that " spoke " to me a number of years ago as I was walking along the bank of a lake. I happened to look down, and the rock was just then washing up onto the shore. My whole life, I've picked up things because, I kiddingly said, " they spoke to me. " I have a couple of six foot long sticks, various other rocks, feathers, and such other things as that. My husband is now accustomed to me bringing in objects because " they spoke to me " . Perhaps I haven't been all that wrong all these years when I've said such things - half in jest, full in earnest, so to speak? I'm starting to realize now that perhaps I've always been picking various energy levels from these items, and that compatible energy is what has attracted me to them all along - thus, they really did " speak to me " . Enough of my meanderings, though... Here's the picture of the rock. http://tinyurl.com/ycfh5vp The main body of the rock is a dull gray, vaguely striped with darker gray - pretty much your basic river rock, I think. The creamy white " cross " that is embedded in that gray rock looks to be a different type of rock altogether. I've never made any attempt to clean it. I've often wondered if it was perhaps the very base bit of a geode of some kind. I appreciate any information you might be able to pass along as to what might create this sort of a stone. Whatever it is, I've kept it close for all these years, just because it seemed special somehow. Many thanks - Keri in OK
Guest guest
Hi Keri, Wow.............. What a rock, I have no idea what it is, but it certainly has heaps of energy. I was mesmerised. It was trying to tell you, dont look back, stop looking over your shoulder. Keep moving froward.  I believe your bird must be an eagle, as this was the impression on the stone. I hope you dont mind but I have printed off a picture of your rock to hang on my wall.
