Or would that make any difference?*** Personally I would go for the silver bowl. Silver is a conductive material in it's own right. If you can get your hands on a copper bowl to me that would be even better! The leaded crystal bowl to me feels too weighty and depending on where it was made, some of those working conditions are not favorable to the humans that work in them. So, just from that stand point, I would avoid using the leaded crystal bowl. ***2nd question - in your opinion, would the carnelian rough be better to line a " cleaning " bowl? Based on nothing other than my gut feel, I would think that the rough would work better/faster than the tumbled carnelian. The rough feels like it would provide a sharper and more definite cleansing energy, whereas the tumbled feels like it would be a more gentle and subtle cleansing energy. Do you concur with this assumption?*** Your gut is always the best place one " listen " too. ***3rd question - what stones other than carnelian have the reputation of being able to " clean " other stones, without themselves then having to be cleaned? Kyanite? Citrine?*** Citrine and Selenite are 2 others that do not hold onto negative energy. I have a LOT of selenite throughout my house for it's cleansing purposes. It also transmuted negative energies into positive energies. You can find selenite in plate form (Utah Ice is one of the names) and in wand form (both natural and man-fashioned). One of the places I have found selenite plates locally and for fantastic prices is the pet supply stores that also carry aquarium supplies (where they have the natural rocks). In my area, at a 1.59 a pound, You can get quite a few " plates " for under 10 bucks! I find it to be a great price and then no shipping charges. Hope this helps. Blessings to your eve all.
