Guest guest
Beeswax isn't vegan. Not in the strictest sense, anyway. Neither is the use of honey. We use floral, other waxes to avoid any ethical problems : ) Bobbie > [Original Message] > breeann1021 <breeann1021 > > 10/28/2004 6:03:29 AM > lip balm > > > > > Herbal Lip Balm~ > (im looking for a vegan recipe!) * 2 tbsp. beeswax > * 4 tbsp. apricot oil > * if desired add a couple of drops of any essential oils such as > lemon or rose for a light flavor > > Melt beeswax w/ 4 tbsp. apricot oil, add 1/2 tsp. camphor, stirring > frequently until camphor is dissolved. I have a recipe that calls for candelilla wax. That is vegan correct? Bree =======Robin Eastman <lostgirls wrote: Beeswax isn't vegan. Not in the strictest sense, anyway. Neither is theuse of honey.
