Homemade Treats for our pets

How to Make It 1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees and grease cookie sheets.

2. In large bowl, combine rolled oats, butter or margarine, and the boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes. Stir in cornmeal, sugar, bouillon, milk, cheese, and egg. Mix well.

3. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup and level off. Add flour one cup at a time, mixing well after each addition to form a stiff dough.

4. On floured surface, knead in remaining flour until dough is smooth and no longer sticky (about 4 minutes). Roll or pat out dough to 1/2 inch thickness, cut with bone shaped cookie cutter or any shape you like.

5. Place cut out cookies 1" apart on the greased cookie sheets. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes on until golden brown. Cool completely. Store these yummy treats in the refrigerator or in the freezer to avoid spoilage.

Makes approximately 3 1/2 dozen large-sized dog biscuits.

How to Make It 1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.

2. Serve by spooning directly into your cat's food dish or shape mixture into small balls.

Nothing wastes more energy than worrying - the longer a problem is carried, the heavier it gets. Don't take things too seriously - live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.
