Guest guest
The fact of wether eatting meat is natural depends on what culture/ ancestrial background you come from!! Vegan is animal friendly. I have tried to alter my life style (slowly but surely) to live more naturally, meaning no perservative, or less perservative, and or making food/products myself when possibly! I have over the past year succeeded in quiting drinking pepsi, and slowly weening myself of soda period. A Philly steak Sandwhich can be natural if your meat is free range, and your cheese is not processed!! Onions and peppers farm grown organicly!! My whole reason for living naturally, and being a part of this group is so that I can make my house hold as chemical free as possible.... Certain Perfumes cause me to have migraine and sinus attacks, Certain cleaners are so abrasive and corrosive; but then Pot ash (lye) has been used by my ancestors for centuries!! So you can't judge a persons Natural-ness based on food consumption UNLESS they baught that stake sub from a pizza shop!!! This is my OPINION on the Natural Subject! Guest guest
As this is your opinion. There is as much research to back the other side. It's all a matter of each doing what we feel is best for our own bodies...and no one has the right to come here and just start slamming other people's choices. Especially not those of new members, and especially not the choices of those who are looking to others for advice (not criticism) on living a more natural life. And weren't we discussing "natural" and not necesarily the "most healthy"? Also, in some belief systems, cancer comes from the soul - usually an angry one ; ) Bobbie - Christina Saturday, March 12, 2005 10:43 AM Re: Welcome Survey - New MemberIntroduction well that's your opinion and I disagree, as someone who has cancer I have done extensive research and meat and cheese are simply not healthy period CBobbie Eastman <lostgirlsranch wrote: Everything in moderation. Guest guest
Wow, that is such an unbelievably cold hearted thing to say to anyone. I'm sure somewhere along the line of your family, or friends there is someone who succumbed to cancer. Would you have said that to them? I won't continue to add to this. But I do ask that you at least try to show some fellow feeling to those around you.. even if only online. Otherwise, perhaps it's best not to say anything. Guest guest
Actually, I learned this from my family, in particular my grandmother and uncle (thank you Grandma Katie & Elbert), a cancer SURVIVOR, not victim. You don't know what my family has succumbed to, nor what I may have had to overcome. My words were not meant to be mean, but it is true that there are many who believe that all illness is the manifestation of what the soul/psyche has endured. And no, I'm not talking about hypochindria. I was taught that cancer is a disease of anger (all kinds). Making a conscious to let go of anger/fear has saved me - I was told 14 years ago that I had 3, maybe 5 years to live. I speak from a little experience. Try to have some feeling? I do feel. You have no idea what I do for work - how I live my life, and it breaks my heart to see some people literally dying and looking to solely to outside sources, without ever looking inside. Try to have some tolerance for beliefs that are not your own, maybe expand your mind to include some new knowledge in the knowledge you have already gained. I'm willing to take this discussion off list.
