Rub fresh leaves across ant routes, along baseboards and table legs, and in cabinets, which will force them to look elsewhere. PROFESSIONAL ROOM SPRAY This mixture will help to eliminate most harmful bacteria, many viruses, and a few fungi. Bergamot and Eucalyptus are the best room deodorizers; Bergamot, Lavender, Peppermint, Lemon, and Madarin all deter insects; and ants dislike the scent of Cloves. The first 4 oils listed below are the main ingredients of classic eau-de-cologne, and call to mind this famous refreshing scent. The recipe is for a 1 1/4 oz (50 ml) spray bottle and uses 200 drops essential oil per 1 3/4 oz (50 ml) finished volume. Use essential oils as follows: 60 drops Bergamot, 20 drops Lavender, 15 drops each Lemon, Rosemary, Thyme, tea tree, and Lemon Eucalyptus; 10 drops each Eucalyptus, Juniper, and Mandarin; 5 drops each Clove, Sandalwood, and Peppermint. Any combination should kill most harmful germs. Measure the oils into a clean glass bottle, replace the lid, swirl to bind the oils and leave to 24 hours to amalgamate. Add 1 oz (25 ml) isopropyl alcohol or vodka. Replace the lid and blend, swirling and tipping the bottle several times, then leave for 24 hours. Add 1 oz (25 ml) distilled water and blend again. Decant into an atomizing bottle, and spray as required. This spray will keep fresh for many months in a cool, dark place, and will transform any interior into a clean, refreshing space. There was no mention of termite control/deterrents in the book. Hope that helps!!! Goddess bless Michelle/WillowRaven (at the group's site) We need a renaissance of wonder. We need to renew, in our hearts and in our souls, the deathless dream, the eternal poetry, the perennial sense that life is miracle and magic. -- E.
