Pour 1 quart of white wine vinegar over the herbs and bring to a boil in the microwave oven on high power. (although it is much easier to use a microwave, you canbring the mixture to a boil on the stove top, as well). Remove from the microwave and allow to cool. Pour mixture of vinegar and herbs into jar and cover. Allow the vinegar mixture to steep for 2 weeks. Shake daily. Strain off herbs and place into pretty bottles. Decorate with ribbon, raffia, and dried herbs as desired. Attach a tag with this recipe and instructions to add several drops of herbal vinegar to hot bath water. These vinegars make for a relaxing and fragrant bath and can be created using any fresh herb from your garden, such as chamomile, lavender, rosemary, thyme, and mint.Source: Fragrant Gifts-- Diana Gonzalez Nothing wastes more energy than worrying - the longer a problem is carried, the heavier it gets.
