BATH SACHETS

Mix up the following mixtures thoroughly and spread out onto a paper towel or plate for at least 2 hours to allow the vitamin E gel time to dry. Create a pouch from a piece of muslin that measures 6 ½ by 4 inches by folding the muslin in half and sewing a seam up the sides. Fill the sachet half full with the following mixtures, sew a seam up the top and decorate to your liking.

Create a gift tag or label. Add ribbons, bows, raffia or homespun fabric to embellish the sachet. Double or triple the recipes to make enough for gift giving and for yourself. Store unused mixture in an airtight container until you're ready to use.

2 cups dried honeysuckle

1 Vitamin E Capsule

1 cup lavender petals

1/2 cup powdered milk

Basic Bubble Bath Recipe

Basic Bubble Bath Recipe

2 cups grated soap

1 gallon water

1/2 cup glycerin

2 cups shampoo

scented oil

You can use several canning jars for this recipe.

(Store in several containers or one large sealed

container.)

Combine the water, 2 tbsp. of the glycerin and soap

flakes together. Place the combined ingredients in a

pot and cook on the stovetop on a low heat, stirring

frequently until the soap has melted.

To make a 1 quart, Gift Jar:

Pour 2 cups of the liquid soap mixture into a bowl.

Add the shampoo and the rest of the glycerin, mixing

well. Add a few drops of scented oil, mixing well.

Seal and decorate the jar and attach the tag.

Bubble Bath

(Name it for whatever scent you want)

For a nice warm bubble bath, add 1 to 1/2 cups of

Bubble Bath under running water.

(Use as liquid handsoap if desired)
