Resolution: To ExerciseNo matter what your age, regular physical activity is key to aging gracefully and healthfully. Unfortunately, excuses to put off getting moderate daily exercise are easy to find, especially those that claim there is not enough time. The good news is that most excuses along these lines can be easily overcome. If you find yourself saying " I don't have time to work out, " consider that physical activity is one of the most important investments you can make in long-term health and healthy aging. It has to be a priority. The actual time you need to spend is not that great: 30 to 45 minutes a day of aerobic activity, 30 minutes of strength training two or three times a week, and maybe the same number of minutes for flexibility and balance training. If you can combine some of this with ordinary activity like house or yard work, walking to work, or shopping, the time requirement is even more manageable. Most importantly, when you establish these routines and see and feel the results, you will soon look forward to this time and come to enjoy it. -- Diana Gonzalez Nothing wastes more energy than worrying - the longer a problem is carried, the heavier it gets. Don't take things too seriously - live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.
