[drugawareness] SSRI Retreat & Dr. Tracy to do national radio show

You can listen to a radio show I am doing Monday evening. It is the Jeff

Rense Show, a national show which is also available to listen in on line at

www.rense.com.

 

It begins at 7:00 PM Pacific time, 8:00 PM Mountain, 9:00 PM Central or 10:00

PM Eastern. You can check your local talk radio stations to see if they carry

the show locally or listen in online.

 

Some of our group will be on the show with me talking about their own SSRI

" moments " .

 

One thing we will discuss is a dream I have which I have not shared with too

many of you - a healing retreat for those suffering from SSRIs and a massive

grove of trees in memory of those who have died on SSRIs. This has been on my

mind and in my heart for many years. Now it is a possibility.

 

The retreat would be geared toward natural alternative healing modalities to

assist in overcoming the adverse effects of SSRIs and assisting those

suffering from depression, panic, anxiety, etc. so that they can avoid using

these

drugs altogether.

 

And now to confess that one of my greatest heros in life is Johnny Appleseed.

And if I were not fighting these drugs I would be planting trees. Trees in my

opinion have some of the most healing properties life has to offer. Now that

may be because I was raised in a desert deprived of trees. But I love them.

And for many years have wanted to find an area to build a living memorial by

planting a tree, along with a name plaque and picture, for all who have died as

a

result of SSRI antidepressants.

 

This retreat and grove are currently possible. It would have separate homes

to stay in with each guest having their own separate room in 3 bedroom 2 bath

fully furnished homes.

 

A medical clinic will be available using a variety of medical testing and

natural alternative treatments. Also available will be a clinic to offer

hyperbarric oxygen treatment.

 

Ammenities would include a swimming pool, fitness center, and various forms

of recreation for those who are well enough.

 

It will be in the Southwest where the weather is mild. And the area is quiet,

serene, peaceful and beautiful.

 

I want this to be a place where people can learn how to live so as to avoid

the pitfalls of physical and mental illnesses and attain peace and harmony in

their lives.

 

For years so many have pleaded for a place to go as they come off their

medications and have help in their withdrawal. Now we have hope that this will

be

possible in the very near future.

 

The Betty Ford Clinic offers a two week stay for a total of $11,000 and say

they offer reasonable prices. We would offer an introductory price of $1500 for

the week. That would include room and board and all ammenities plus seminars

and group sessions.
