If one considers the amount of refined (white) flour pasta contains, then for sure it will become clear that it's just another glorified wheat product. " That is true about regular pasta, but whole wheat pasta is healthful. It is a complex carb high in fiber with none of the insulin raising action that comes with white refined (semolina)pasta. I do fine with it even though I am hypoglycemic. It is a good choice for those of us who don't want to give up our pasta.
