Guest guest
-->I have a problem with congestion. I have had sinus surgery in 2000 which helped some. But my problem is that the mucus either sinus drainage or chest congestion is mostly thick and is very hard to drain either from my sinus or to cough up. Is there anything I can do to help this problem Christmas Wishes To You, Theresa In FL<-- Hi Theresa, The first thing you must do is look at your diet. Are you eating any dairy products, or refined foods such as cakes, cookies, biscuits, breads, pasta, white rice, etc., or are you eating or drinking high-sugar foods such as sodas, concentrated juices, sweets in any form, etc.? Are you drinking a lot of coffee? How much water do you drink every day? Those are foods that produce excessive amounts of mucus in the body. You must try to avoid or limit them in order to create balance once again. Try to eat a diet consisting of high quality, if possible, organic fruits, vegetables, and some grains, good sources of fish, chicken, and other meats (if possible, free-range), and try to avoid foods that are processed in any way. That would, in my humble opinion, be a good place to start. Hope that helps, good luck and good health, Daniel ===== Daniel C.
