Guest guest
I read an article about the TUMS manufacturing factory somewhere. I was appalled when I read that they have bowls of the stuff set out & employees pop TUMS like candy when passing. As a person suffering from lack of stomach acid, I can't believe these people know what they're doing. They must think they are just getting beneficial calcium. , " JoAnn Guest " <angelprincessjo> wrote: > Herbal Solutions for Common Digestive Complaints > Antacid medications are sold without offering consumers 'vital' > information concerning the 'causes' and complications of heartburn > and digestive problems. > Using antacids may cause damage to the lining of the esophagus > (e.g., precancerous ulcers). > Biochemists report that one of the long-term side effects of > blocking acid production is a compromised immune system; hydrochloric acid is an essential component in the complete digestion of food and > protects the body from pathogenic bacteria. If that doesn't help, you can add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. If neither of these solutions work, try taking a betaine hydrochloride supplement (HCI) with your meal.
