Guest guest
Evening Joann, Interesting article about milk. However FLAWED..... Not one mention of Vitamin D. In addition, the source website, <http://www.notmilk.com/dairy>http://www.notmilk.com/dairy is one of the most biased sites on the web. I have read many articles from that site. I think the NUT that runs it is a full blooded vegetarian. There is no way, you, him, or any other scientist, ( or a panel of 500 ) can explain how people have lived to be 80, 90, and 100 years of age, and no bone problems, IF ....... any of this bad press on milk is true. I had one friend that lived to be 85. still had strong bones. He drank milk like it was water. I have seen him go by the frig and drink from a gallon jug like a thirsty farmer downs water. My mother lived to 91.5 and used dairy produce all her life. I drank one gallon per day for a few years in my life. Now I drink all I want, usually 16 to 32 oz. At age 65 I lift anything my muscles will lift. No crushed bones or smashed disks. First, you, me, and everyone will have to agree, these masses of subjects with bone problems have hundreds, if not thousands of deficiencies and complex body chemistry problems. Sure, a bit of milk may kill them. Still, it is not the fault of the milk. Certainly low vitamin D is likely and most never heard of magnesium and have not a clue how much potassium the get per day or need per day. I know... because I have asked hundreds of them. So..... milk caused the bone loss ?? Without enough vitamin D, anyones health is doomed. Blame it on milk, chocolate, sugar, rice, flour, or any one of 1000 other things. Like I stated before, every single one of my friends who have bone and back problems never worked a day in their life in the sunshine with their shirt off. Most of them have not worked at anything, by my standard of work. Often we are blind sided by fancy articles by people who have been blind sided by their own preconceived ideas. Like this " NOT MILK " guy. No study in the world today, made with sick people will carry the weight of observations made of healthy people. Sick people> Again, I repeat, we are not suggesting that healthy people stop drinking milk! However it is very often contraindicated in numerous instances including serious (irreversible) bone loss! We have no way of knowing whether dairy CAUSED the bone loss or not initially. It is doubtful that the existing imbalances leading up to this disease could have been caused by Dairy to the exclusiion of everything else in their diet. However, if they do recover from this, (and I believe it is possible, there are testimonies to that effect) they are going to have to make some radical changes in diet and lifestyle and limiting their Dairy intake is certainly one of them! Excessive calcium in any form can lead up to bone disease, especially if it is not 'acconpanied' by certain other essential minerals. Dairy is notoriuos for its extremely high " phosphorus " content. When there is too much phosphorus in the diet, irregardless of the source, it will contribute to bone LOSS!! To reverse this condition, one has to eliminate excessive " phosphorus " from the diet! When we look at all the statistics coming from ANY source, we notice that the nations which have an extremely high intake of dairy to the exclusion of other more healthy foods, have a high incidence of osteoporosis and bone disease! Etnic studies always point to this one vital fact. I firmly believe there is a correlation there. If you take the time to read up on it the evidence exists and is very convincing! When one considers all the variuos hidden forms of dairy in our diets, it all starts to make more sense. Then too, Dairy is not the healthy food it was previously was. Since 1996, it has been polluted with antibiotics, 59 growth hormones (IGF) and in addition, these additives are very closely linked to cancer proliferation simply because they are artificial hormones that interfere with our natural hormones (Xenoestrogens). Testimonies confirm that whenever Dairy is eliminated from the diets of very sick people miraculous healings take place! Arthritis, allergies, sickle cell anemia, cancer (all types, osteoporosis, arteriosclerosis, and the list goes on and on. Research indicates that We are literally the only country in the world with such a high consumption of cow's milk. Numerous other third world countries are drinking milk from various other animal species, which according to the experts contain more of an abundance of the essential 'nutrients'. Almost Immediately after my heart attack I stopped drinking milk and eating dairy foods and my health immediately started to improve. I've heard many others testify the same. Your family amazes me. They are SO healthy! I hope their luck continues. Wayne, as I've said before, the bottom line is that those who are really healthy usally don't have a problem with it, however apparently those of us who are experiencing certain serious illnesses typicaly have to make some very radical changes in order to improve! Most of us are still searching. I'm wondering why you're here. <LOL Best Regards, JoAnn Evening Joann, Interesting article about milk. However FLAWED..... Not one mention of Vitamin D. Guest guest
Thanks Wayne You pegged the problem!!! No Vitamin D! It amazes me how almost every 'health group' ignores Sunlight. Did any of these alternative practicioners' ever read Dr. Johanna Budwig's research? If they read carefully they would not miss the scientific proofs of the value of Sunlight on All Levels of our health. This is also why some people live well past 100 years = they walk almost every day in Sunlight. Poeple do not realize that Sunlight is actually a food to our bodies and why those 'nuts' breatharians can go for long times without eating. http://alkalizeforhealth.net/sunlight.htm Rick , Wayne Fugitt <wayne@f...> wrote: > Evening Joann, > > Interesting article about milk.
