Is there any thing else any one can recommend? Eloise, From my own experience, I can say that not only is the wrist involved, but also the upper back/shoulder blades.... Nerves and muscle inflammation sometimes are implicated as well as sometimes the elbow. Something that has helped me, and several others I know is to take some of Dr. John Christopher's Bone, Flesh & Cartilage tincture, and add just a few drops.....(doesn't take much) of DMSO for absorption, and apply it to the wrist, shoulder, elbow, etc..... It really has helped to heal the inflamed nerves, and generate healing in this area. Pain reduction has been almost immediate for me. I have no problems with it anymore. Guest guest
What has caused the Carpal Tunnel? This must be eliminated as Carpal Tunnel will remain chronic if the repetitive hand motions that brought it on are not eliminated or greatly reduced. I had a friend with very bad Carpal Tunnel from his very repetitive wood duck-carving work. He was not willing to stop or curtail this hobby as he wanted to make it his vocation. He found the best surgeon in the state that specialized in Carpal Tunnel. That Doc made some very, very specialized cuts in the palms of his hands and he was back to being pain-free with normal function in about 6 weeks. That was over three years ago. No problems since. He's still carving away. Harry - " Eloise Bailey " <pray Wednesday, January 28, 2004 10:55 PM Carpal Tunnel > I have a friend whose son is having problems with carpal tunnel. Guest guest
I think that hyaluronic acid found in Biocell Collagen II would be extremely helpful. I was developing tennis elbow about two years ago in my left arm. It is now completely gone. My left arm is as strong as my right. That means a lot to me because I am a court reporter! I would strongly recommend it. Beyond-A-Century.com carries it in powder form that I mix with a small amount of orange juice twice a day. I hope this helps! Guest guest
Hi Eloise, Elevated and therapeutic doses of Ester-C and MSM have worked for allot of people I know. A calm non stressful period while these products go to work to reduce inflammation might be in order as well. How much good water is he drinking a day? Half his weight in ounces should be the answer along with fruit juices. A look at sodium vs. potassium salt levels might be a consideration as well as these are usually out of proper proportion. Other than common sense diet corrections I've seen MSM and Ester-C do some pretty remarkable things along this line.
