Guest guest
Someone I know had a heart attack last week. Three out of 4 coronary arteries are blocked so the passage through which blood can flow is narrowed or twisted. Blood flow to the heart is very restricted. Since the muscle of his heart doesn't not get enough oxygen, there is also inflamation somewhere in his heart. The inflamation doesn't go even if he's taking some medication. The person is 62 years old, height 5'6 " , weight 140-145 lbs. In the last 10 years he had 4 angina. He never smoked, neved did drugs and took a glass of wine with meals. He is to weak to support anesthesia and get an operation that would unclog the artery. His condition is critical. The Doctor say there is nothing to do. His life expectancy is no more than a month and if he has another attack he won't be reanimated. Beside traditional medecine, does someone know a way to unclog a blocked artery. Is there a remedy for this condition? Would olive olive or fish oil do any good? Thank You very much, Jean

Guest guest
Do a search on CoEnzymeQ10 for the heart. Donetta

If at all possible the magnesium should be at a ratio of 2 to 1 with more magnesium present than calcium. I wouldn't even take supplemental calcium, as that just usually adds to the problem, and usually there is enough in food to suffice. Too much Calcium restricts muscles (both heart and artery) and just leads to even more spasms. He should not be hesitant to take as much magnesium as he needs!. I have taken it to relieve arrythmias and even ward off heart attacks, many many times. Its amazing how fast spasms disappear after taking magnesium. I take it any time of the day. You really can't get too much magnesium in my opinion. In the early days I took it to ward off heart attacks when I felt them coming on, rather than go visit the ER. It works, what can I say! :-) Thank God for magnesium! Intravenous magnesium has been used in emergency rooms in olden days. If he could see an ND perhaps they could provide him with this type of treatment. Orthodox medicine is VERY aware of this (intravenous magnesium), however they don't use it anymore, would you believe it? Magnesium greatly improves oxygen flow to the heart, relaxing the muscles in the meantime. If at all possible get magnesium oxide for him although any magnesium will do if its from the health food store (pharmacy and drugstore brands usually contain too many fillers to be very effective). Magnesium oxide is the best to improve oxygen flow. I took 1,200 mgs a day, in divided doses when I was at my lowest ebb. It is very hard to get enough magnesium from your foods unless you eat an abundance of greens and beans. If he drinks wine, make sure its Red Wine! He should drink Red wine (in moderation of course) with his meals every day. If he's in the hospital don't let them give him any margarines. Even Benecol or take control have harmful artery clogging hydrogenated oils in them Also try to help him avoid hydrogenated oils in canned and boxed foods, breads and snacks. They clog the arteries even more! No refined oils, or fried foods at all should be eaten. Rather just Substitute extra virgin olive oil in cooking and on baked potatoes etc. This helps to provide him with more omegas. He is lacking in omegas. If he can tolerate it give him a tablespoon of EV olive oil several times each day with his meals. He should not eat any Dairy at all during this time until the emergency passes,... absolutely NO Dairy (he can substitute either almond or rice milk or non-gmo soy milk). Eat original oatmeal sweetened with raisins in cooking using only raw honey for a sweetener. Oats are good for the heart, however not the instant variety. Instant is completely devoid of any nutrients. No refined sugars should be eaten, it contains tons of triglycerides which clog arteries even more! No sodium or salt, either, unless its just minimal amounts of sea salt. He shouldn't eat meat at this time, fish will be quite adequate for protein intake. Either alaskan salmon or sardines in water provide all the protein he needs at this time, with perhaps one or two organic eggs occasionally, however I would not advise eating more than one a day until his condition improves a little. Other than that he should get his protein from organic plant foods, i.e., steamed or raw veggies (broccoli, spinach (high in folic acid) asparagus or cauliflower is the best), cooked dried beans, lentils and legumes. It would be good to juice some fruits and veggies for him as well. Fresh fruits and juices (no pasteurized or refined though) provide nutrition for the arteries and tend to reduce the inflammation. Find a good vitamin C with rosehips or acerola berry at the health food store. take max doses with meals,in the morning, and at bedtime. This will buy him some time and improve his circulation as well. For the inflammation, use selenium (at least 50 mgs) and vitamin E 800 to 1,200 IU, unless he has high blood pressure, then he will have to take a little less. Tocotrienols are more effective for this, but if possible get a combination supplement with all of the tocopherols and tocotrienols combined. Capsicum (hot peppers) and ginger root, both in capsules and foods will help cut through the blockages. You must use a very good supplement though. the POWER supplements by natures herbs are extra strong for this, there are others as well. Turmeric (supplement or bulk herbs, NOT the ordianary spice, which is irradiated)is also good for opening arteries up. Hawthorne berry strengthens the heart muscles. Be sure to get the berries (supplements or bulk herb) though, the leaves and flowers do very LITTLE for the heart. He can take maximum dosages of this herb with each meal. Hawthorne berry is a FOOD, so you don't have to worry about getting too much. of it. The more the better, really! As someone has mentioned,Coenzyme q10 is wonderful for the heart as well. Take at least 150 to 300 mgs a day in divided doses until you start to see results. the sublingual liquid is the best, although the soft gels are also very good for the heart. again, use a good suppelemnts. Drug store varieties (sundown, etc, have been tested and they do very little good) I know, I've been there, done that. Yes, fatty fish is high in omega-3 fatty acids, more so than fish oil. The heart protecting powers of fish is due primarily to its effects on blood coagulation. Studies show that fatty fish regulate how the blood flows and clots. five ounces of Alaskan salmon or sardines (in water, not soybean oil) lowers fibrinogen by 16 percent. Interestingly in the same study, fish OIL capsules did not affect blood clotting factors. One explanation is that FISH have other compounds besides fat that benefit anti-clotting factors. Eating alaskan salmon literally CHANGES the shape of blood platelets so they can't lock together to form blood clots. L-carnitine (300-600 mgs), zinc, folic acid, B vitamins ( all of them) and potassium (99 mgs) should be supplemented (max doses) as well. How can they make such a statement???? No resuscitation? That's ludicrous! This conditon IS reversible. I have a very dear online friend whose arteries were almost entirely clogged and she survived and is now 100% healed and doing fine!! She took these herbs and supplements religiously. Organic foods need to be eaten as much as possible also. Irradiation and residues in traditional produce contains free radicals... they may cause additional inflammation!! > His life expectancy is no more than amonth and if he has another >attack he won't be reanimated. Nonsense! He CAN live thru this! >Thank You very much, Jean You're welcome! My thoughts and prayers are with you! Hugs, JoAnn
