Guest guest
I'd like to mention that searching the archives on is problematic, because it only searches through small batches of articles each time. This is a recent change, introduced a few months ago by . The result is that if you wanted to search for all messages on a certain keyword, you would have to spend hours hitting " next " each time, searching blocks of about 75 messages at a time (!) I've been using a script called 2mbox and slowly grabbing all of the emails from the archive and storing them in an industry-standard mailbox format. It takes time because reaches a limit and won't display any more than about 350 messages and then it locks you out for a period of time. I've already grabbed the first 6700 messages, and over the coming weeks I'll keep running the script when I can remember and building up the archive. When I get close to the present I'll make the archive available for download from a website, so that you can import the message archive into your mail program and search on your own computer. Because the messages are scraped from the visual web display, all of the regular protections are in place, such as having all email addresses spamproofed.
