I disagree totally. I've bought products from group members and had

great results with them where store-bought products haven't worked.

I used to work for a holistic doctor and some of these things were

unknown even to her.

People here are asking questions and deserve answers, no matter what

the source. Hopefully they're smart enough to do some research on

their own. Outright advertising is discouraged here.

I no longer have insomnia, skin problems, digestive problems, have

no more toxic products in my home, etc. thanks to the wonderful

people who show some entrepeneurship and don't get trapped in being

a slave for someone else 40 hours a week. I prefer my dollars to go

to someone who cares, rather than supporting advertising campaigns

from corporations.

Don't delete, learn!

Me too. I finally even blocked that David that only posts " go buy this book "

because I know it's his affiliate site. I just didn't even want to see that

anymore--as he posted that type of email to just about every question asked.

I don't mind someone saying they have tried and loved a product so much that

now they are selling it--because there ARE lots of great products out there.

But I don't like blatant sale pitches.

I partially agree with you, that some things can help, and this is all

to the good, but I had just read a post, try 'tea tree oil' for a

specific condition 'hives' and then he goes into that he sells this,

blah, blah, from India. Perfectly good tea tree oil from my local

drugstore, probably cheaper too. But that is beside the point....I

have tried alternative remedies through the years, some hit, some

miss. But certain conditions are much more complex and chronic hives

with its many manifestations is one of them. Some herbal coumpounds

can make them worse. Some things need to be carefully researched

before using them for their medical conditions, hate to see needy

people coming to the site and getting taken, that's all. If it helped

you great.

My point was that on some other sites, this was not tolerated. Here

you guys are pretty liberal. The recommendations can be faked too you

know, but glad it helps some people, but I am sure others are not.
