Sorry, I missed the original post but in my opinion and also Julia

Ross's who wrote The Diet Cure, ADD is largely caused by a lack of

amino acids. The neurotransmitters cannot connect properly when there

are little spaces in the brain where amino acids should be.

Any product that contains amino acids may help. This includes Reishi,

certain seaweeds, In-Liven and probably a lot of other things!

Of course avoidance of chemicals and sugar is vital too. Sugar will

cause a multitude of problems. Search for dangers of sugar on the net

and you should come up with something.

Essential fatty acids are also vital for feeding the brain. There was

a study done in England about 12 years or so ago about this. I wish I

had a copy so if anyone reading this does, please email it to me!

People with ADD often get a lot more done than so called normal people

and given the right project will handle it a lot more successfully. I

don't think that ADD is necessarily a bad thing. If you're in the

school system it can be a problem though. A person with ADD needs to

think a bit out of the box and they usually do well as soon as they

get over the self-critisim and ignore what others have to say about it.

EFT may also help to become a little more focused and balance the

energy in the brain: www.emofree.com for manual.

I find that I need to follow a To Do list and highly recommend that

for anyone with ADD. Vitally Important is the first heading. Do

everything on that list first. Next is Important. Do those when the

first list is done. Have a list of things you would like to do under

that. I do mine on the computer so I can cut out the done tasks and

place them under the Done heading. That way I have a record of what I

did and get a feeling of accomplishment at the same time. Doing it

that way also keeps it tidier than paper but a whiteboard could also

work well.

Hope this helps!
