Guest guest
thanks tami, after 3 dentists in the last 6 years, I am now seeing one that I found thru dental by my house... I have lots to clean up... this dentist recommended me going to carecredit.com for financing... I did and was approved for some money to get me started... I am also applying for credit cards and using cash...as I have same issues as you... I have state insurance and was not at all happy with my treatment the last time I went...I want, what I consider, " a real dentist! " in the mean time, I will use your suggestion for pain and thank you so much, blessings, Mary in MN In a message dated 1/10/2007 2:12:39 P.M. That method may work better then what I do. I have a way to deal with my dental pain. Why don't I go to a dentist you ask? Because either they are way too expensive or I have to wait a year to be seen. SO, I have managed to blend some things and it DOES work for all dental problems that I have had. Go to the store (preferably a Wal-Mart) Go to the oral area and down the isle there will be two things, get Kanka and Dentemp, Dentek (the whole kit). Then go to the spices section (if applicable) and get a container containing Whole Cloves. NOW yes, I have mentioned four things. Those four things will help you when you need it the most (AT NIGHT). Now, Make sure you brush your teeth using a 5-15 minute formula. Then rinse either with Listerine Mint for about another 3-5 minutes. Make sure your mouth is free of any foods or germs. Next go sit down for a few minutes while your mouth adjusts. Yes there MAY be some pain however, this will pass. Next go get a whole clove and break it apart ever so gently and place that in or around the infected area. You may use more than one clove if needed. DO NOT SWALLOW (this will stop the rotting process). Next you will need to leave the cloves in your mouth for a few minutes, YES, you feel more pain. However, the pain will stop after a few minutes and you will feel much better. Rinse your mouth out of clove. NOW, with the Dentek or Dentemp stuff (if it is a cavity of any size) make yourself a blanket on the infected cavity. This helps seal it from germs. Now, let that sit for about 5 minutes or until you feel comfortable drinking something warm to hot. Then use the Kanka and *DOPE* up your mouth. Let your mouth settle for about 30 minutes while sitting or standing upright. Do not lay down durring this time. Then, enjoy having a painfree mouth for a good long time. I do. On the average, I usually don't have to repeat this pattern for about three weeks to a month. When brushing your teeth from this point on. Be careful with the packed area. Gently brush around it and then over it ever so slightly/gently, enough to clean it. And use the Listerine Mint. Enjoy! I hope this helps someone here.
