Guest guest
Hello mycodismodis, In reference to your comment: Hi. I was just wondering if anyone knew about the health risk of floride being in the water? ***********Here ya go.....374,000 articles on the dangers of Fluoride _dangers of fluoride - Google Search_ (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en & ie=ISO-8859-1 & q=dangers+of+fluoride) I recently moved to an area that does not have it in the water. ********This is a BLESSING for you and your family/pets..... I have been doing research and It is actually a chemical that goverment needed to dispose of so the decieded to put it in the water. ********government is good about doing crap like this.... However we do need it for the teeth. ********Nope.....you don't need it for your teeth. NONE of my kids ever got Fluoride treatments and NEVER used toothpaste with fluoride in it....My youngest (27 yrs old) just had her first cavity ever. I was hated by their dentists, but I told them, they are not the boss of my child's health care team, they are merely a member. I also reminded them I WAS PAYING THE BILL, so to please do as I ask.....Bottom-line, YOU DO NOT NEED FLUORIDE.... If anyone has any knowledge on the subject, please let me know. This has been a confusing topic for me because I am undecieded if I should put my kids on flouride drops or let them use the flouride rinses in the store that may be enough. Thanks **********NO NO NO NO NO.....DO NOT use fluoride on your children....<shudder> I raised 6 and NONE OF THEM EVER HAD FLUORIDE of any kind. Guest guest
i have read sooo many articles about flouride... and most studies of developed and developing nations show that flouride is not required for dental health. and yes...it was put in the water to dispose of it safely by poisoning the population, but that was during ww2 from memory when it was a by product of heavy manufacturing... i don't know what its source is these days...i would not be suprised to hear that they manufacture it specifically for the water supply hamish. -- -------------------------------- The Keeper of the Big Blue Cable of Connectivity TKBBCC - DNRC I:274300250 Y:hamish_dy M:hamish WL:hamish-dy

Guest guest
Fluoride is needed for children and some adults, I am a Dental Assistant, and have seen what no fluoride does to people's teeth...... And yes, I read the article. Please inform yourselves and THEN make your own decisions. Lynn Angls4Hope wrote: Hello mycodismodis, In reference to your comment: Hi. Guest guest
I agree completely with Angel Hugzzz...floride as a supplement is unnecessary are will not promote good health. I do not use floride toothpaste or allow my children to. I filter my water so that we don't drink it or cook with it. There are very good toothpastes that use natural ingredients that are safe to swallow and effective. My children have perfect teeth at 13 (twins), and my dentist has said that I have the healthy mouth in his office. We use Thieves toothpaste from Young Living, and it has been amazing. My website offers a link to the Young Living site if you are interested in learning more. Guest guest
sorry lyn: knowing what it does to things...and that correct dental hygene is plenty along with regular checkups... i thinki'll vote against being poisoned any mroe by uor governments than i have to... the statistical support for removing flouridation from our water is merely reinforcement i do not doubt that in small doses it may be somewhat beneficial but...do you really have that much confidence in someone else's judgement of what is good for you when their decisions are not based around your best interest but commercial viability? *gets off soapbox* hamish... -- -------------------------------- The Keeper of the Big Blue Cable of Connectivity TKBBCC - DNRC I:274300250 Y:hamish_dy M:hamish WL:hamish-dy
Guest guest
Hamish, I use my own judgement since I work in the Dental Field, I get a lot more info than the average person would. And I did say that way back that never ever over do the flouride, what is in your toothpaste is plenty unless you have a dental problem in which you need extra....then again ask lots of questions and come to your own decision of what is best. A little too much of anything......even herbs, water or be it flouride can be bad for you. Off my soap box now, Lynn hamish d youngberry <hamish.d.youngberry wrote: sorry lyn: knowing what it does to things...and that correct dental hygene is plenty along with regular checkups... i thinki'll vote against being poisoned any mroe by uor governments than i have to... the statistical support for removing flouridation from our water is merely reinforcement i do not doubt that in small doses it may be somewhat beneficial but...do you really have that much confidence in someone else's judgement of what is good for you when their decisions are not based around your best interest but commercial viability? *gets off soapbox* hamish... -- ------------------------- The Keeper of the Big Blue Cable of Connectivity TKBBCC - DNRC I:274300250 Y:hamish_dy M:hamish WL:hamish-dy
