(http://savingdinner.com) Let Leanne do the planning for you! You will save on the grocery bill by buying only what you need. The instructions are easy to follow. Many young parents who had never really learned to cook have found that they can do this, the family is healtier, and they are saving money. You eat now, don't you? What does your family like? Maybe we can brainstorm and adapt some things? Please remember that cr & p out of boxes is always more expensive than plain whole food. Take cold breakfast cereals. The kids have been brainwashed into believing that they need them, and they are handy. How many boxes a week do you go through? Or those little pouches of instant oatmeal? Now check the cost of a kilo of old-fashioned oatmeal. No time in the morning to cook? You don't need to! In the evening, pour boiling water over your oatmeal. It will be as good as ready in the morning. Add some raisins or other dried fruit. It will plump up overnight and be just delicious. All you have to do is warm it up, NOT in the microwave!. It will take five minutes of you standing there stirring the pan with a wooden spoon. It burns if you don't keep an eye on it or if you have the burner too high. Add some powdered cinnamon. Cinnamon not only tastes great, it is a healing herb that helps to stabilize blood sugar levels, among other things. It is OK to put a bit of sugar in this. Honey or maple syrup ( the real kind, from trees) are nice too. If you use milk, add canned milk for extra protein. Extra yummies are sunflower seeds, not so yummy but so good for you is ground flax seeds, added at the last minute. Have you read the interview with Dr. Blaylock on excitotoxins yet? It is on http://newstarget.com If that can't get people motivated to cook from scratch I give up.
