Oh, maybe I have been eating more salt than usual. I keep getting cravings

for purple olives and they're very salty. I've also been adding cayenne to

my almond milk and my hot cocoa, but I've done that for a few weeks now.

It must be the salt!

Dear Ilana,

 

I see that this has been answered by others, but I'd also like to add that sugar and alcohol can turn these on with a vengeance. Again, good ole garlic is a big help. So is DMSO.

Even better than oregano and safer too, is lysine.
