If it is please feel free to whip me with a wet noodle! ;-) Anyway...Im Christy and I just joined hoping to find some answers and relief. I am sure you have info about my questions in the files section, but my internet device causes me many headcahes. Its not a computer, just a device that lets me onto the net, so it doesnt always work properly. Anyway...lately I have found myself so depressed and anxious. I worry about everything from will my 2 yr old just die in the middle of the night to is my husband cheating on me. This is causing major problems in my home life. Its not a passing thought, it is always present in my mind causing me much worry and stress. I am always exhausted, but from what? Im only 28 years old and perfectly healthy otherwise. Is there an herb or heck even a method to teach myself not to be so worried about things I can not control? I have tried St Johns Wort after hearing lots of good things about it. However, I have found it does nothing for me. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Christy
Guest guest
St John's Wort is effective for mild to moderate depression only. SAM-e has been shown to be effective for more severe depressive issues. mjh In a message dated 2/18/03 4:26:38 AM Eastern Standard Time, herbal remedies writes: Dear Christy, There was a discussion recently on St Johns Wort, and it appears that it is being incorrectly marketed as an anti-depressant. That is not what it does, or is meant for, so I'm not surprised it did nothing for you. Do you have a person in your immediate environment who makes you feel less than what/who you are and is a negative influence? Lisa
