I just made a bowel cleanse blend for myself and it seems to be working. Here is what I put in it, in equal parts.

 

Peppermint leaves

fennel seeds

burdock root

licorice root

flaxseeds (sorry!)

 

I based this recipe off of one I found in the march/april issue of herbs for health. It was in an article called Fasting: a time honored approach, written by Beth Baugh and Christopher Hobbs.
