Although admirable all he has done is eliminated the alcohol, the root has never been addressed. I had quite the post for you but I disconnected my computer and lost it, so will try to quickly replace what was lost, but I can't go into great detail right now as work is calling. Sounding like a broken record here, Candida Albicans will have to be addressed in order to give your husband any peace from the alcoholism. In his case it will vary a little, but not much. There are trigger foods that will trigger cravings for addictions when eaten and he is experiencing this. Those foods will be directly related to the food he drank in alcohol form. Beer would be yeast foods, or corn whiskey, like that. The one substitution they teach alcoholics that keep them in the addiction mode is coffee/sugar. They teach to " replace " one addiction for another a more socially acceptable addiction. Who after all judges a sugar addiction? Insurance companies will not insure a smoker, but they have no problem with wheat and sugar eaters, the reason they are going broke, go figure! Well alcohol is 90 percent sugar, so there's a good portion of the addiction right there. Coffee/sugar keeps that pancreas going and the ups and downs of sugar are blown out of proportion. It is very bad news. You may want to think about calling Doc and getting some help from him. His phone number is listed here on site and he does a 30 minute phone consult for free. Your husband will have to go some major diet changes in order to help him. The liver gall bladder flush helps break addictions, personally I would recommend doing one, waiting two weeks and doing another. You'll need to get raw honey and hve him replace ALL sugar, and I mean read those labels, ALL sugar ASAP. Coffee has to go too, completely. If he will not drink the Panther Piss, then do my elixir with the 2 teaspoons each raw honey, black strap molasses, and raw apple cider vinegar for a coffee replacement. Careful, very careful with any grains for the time being till we can get it set what his triggers are. Stay away from rye. Oats and rice may be a problem for him and barley too as they are all related to wheat and wheat definately has to go. His reaction to wheat would be more severe than most. It is as much to blame for depression as sugar, but is an awful trigger food. All of this isn't as hard as it sounds although it is hard. He should feel better right away, after he goes through the sugar DT's that is. He will need buffered powdered vitamin C to get through that as will you and plenty of B's. Going off of sugar is a great stress on anyone's body, the addiction is tremendous for us all. There are herbal regimes that will help him get through this as well, but using just the regimes and skipping the diet end of it will not treat the root. This may be a strange way to you or him to treat alcoholism, but when you begin to look into the Candida problem it will begin to make sense to you. He should really weight the benefits of doing some cleaning in his body and other types of flushes. I fear his thyroid is in quite the shape as well as his adrenals. They need to be addressed to help his body deal with the stress of going through yet more withdrawls. We are all here to help when you/he needs more help. The circumstances surrounding his illness, unpaid bills, turning down work, confusion, feeling trapped, are all symptoms of the disease. So is what it is doing to you. You and he have some choices to make because if the syptoms are addressed and the disease is not, things will likely not change and even if they do, it will not be for long. The good news is....this disease isn't bigger than the bodies ability to heal itself if fed properly. Hoping the best choices for you and yours, bt
