Guest guest
Irene, I'm trying to figure all that out myself. I guess what I'd suggest is avoiding douching at any time when the os, the opening to the cervix, is open. These times would be at menstruation (which is a cleansing period anyways and should be respected as such so don't do any treatments then and avoid intercourse) and at ovulation. You can feel if it is open or not with your finger, just be sure that your hands are clean and don't use soap to clean them either as it might make your situation worse. I'm interested in what others have to say about this. ILANA xoxo Irene72380 wrote: I have a question about using treatments for vaginal yeast. I am just wondering if there is any cause for concern in using them as a douche. I am just worried about it either burning or doing some type of damage if it passes my cervix (if that is possible i dont' know). From what i have looked up i am considering using Apple Cider Viniger or Tea Tree Oil, but i have heard that using any type of vinegar throws off the natural balance. If anyone has any advice on any of this, it would be a lot of help (already searched the files). *irene Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Guest guest
Dear *irene, There should be no problem with the ACV, but the TTOil may burn or blister if you use toooo much. Go soft with that one. The ACV should be cut at least 50 - 50 with distilled water. You may also wish to get a little tougher and crush some fresh garlic and let it sit in the ACV for day (one clove to a cup of ACV) which may burn a little but will knock off any low grade infection in the area. Anyone who has a yeast infection also has some serious internal work to do as well (at least a thorough bowel cleanse). Hope this helps.
