Guest guest
I am on digest so it takes a while for me to answer... Hi Suzi, and those in our group... I am on the fat flush plan which worked for me until I spent 3 weeks in Boston visiting my kids. I just couldn't give someone that much pressure on what I could or couldn't eat so I ate everything. I do know that the yeast, grains, along with sugars make me ache and I do not feel well. Struggling at this point to let go of the bad stuff and I started taking my supplements the other day. I am a 53 yr old female (this June 17) that has been in menopause for over 13 years. I also have fibromyalgia for which when I stopped my meds I have felt better taking supplements but when I was in Boston I didn't know what I was eating or taking that was making my belly button itch like crazy!!!! So I stopped taking everything I brought with me... Now I am taking MSM, black Cohash, burdock root, dandelion root, devil's claw, Zinc picolinate, Magnesium, Borage oil 300, Chromium Picolinate, CLA, cold press flaxseed oil, cranberry extract and Milk thistle which I learned in this group should not be taken longer then two weeks and then stop to go on it later on... I stopped for a month and just went on Milk thistle a few days ago... I was on heavy meds for so long I just want to feel better... I have been on the Fat Flush Plan since Feb or so and lost over 40 pounds on it. Those weeks in Boston was time I needed with my family with all that is going on in this world. I am not feeling up to par yet since it has been just 2 days I went back on my supplements... Better then I did when I first got back... Good thing was that I never did gain a pound ... We just bought a ranch and there is plenty to do with 1280 acres in Quemado not far from Dr. Ian Shillington. Our dream is to get a ranch going so that we can grow and not shop at the stores for foods that we can grow ourselves... I am blessed to be in this group and learn so much... I did miss 3 weeks but I always feel we are where we need to be today!! Learning and letting go!! smile! I share this information with my partner and we are grateful for its resourcefulness... We are now sharing this with the Grand Jury here in Santa Fe, since Georgia has duty for 3 months every Thursday. Hopefully we will have more members and more people who need health and healing in their lives... It was interesting about the schools that you spoke about and am glad to have that information also... So thank you, thank you all! So I was the one who made the choices of supplements I was going to take because of the pain or menopausal symptoms that I have... Not sure if they work together... but I am not ill either... I am a nut lover and now know that this has to change in the form and way that I eat them... Does this include flaxseeds? How do you eat almonds, cashews, and pecans? Lovingly, Jennie Nunez Santa Fe & Quemado, NM Be impeccable with your word. Don't take things personally.Don't make assumptions. Always do your best.
