Guest guest
I believe the criteria to be exempt from required shots is decided on a state to state basis. Here in Minnesota, we are allowed to refuse shots based on philosophical beliefs, not just religious beliefs. I think this is written into our state law. When the smallpox scare blew through after 9/11, there was some noise about forcing people to be immunized. That ended up with a law which states that anyone who refuses to be immunized must agree to be quarantined if an epidemic should arise. I don't know about the rest of you, but as time progresses, I'm getting a little scared about the power of the medical establishment over our lives. Fortunately, I've never had much interaction with it, but I've certainly heard the horror stories. I would hate to see the day one went to jail, or had to flee to the hinterlands, to avoid be vaccinated.
