Guest guest
I've been out of pocket for about a year and a half and i need to know if raw eggs are back on.. can we safely eat them raw now? I have always agreed with Rodale (because i wanted to )) that the whole egg is ok to eat but that was before health information on TV warned that they have to be totally cooked. I miss raw egg shakes as quit making them when the news came through that raw eggs caused some kind of poisoning.. can't recall name of illness caused. Haven't even licked the cake batter mixing bowl since! come to think of it.. haven't made a cake to lick the batter since the kids got married and left home! BUT..is it safe to eat them raw? love.. granny lee.heheheh!!! herbal remedies , " Dr. Ian Shillington " <Dr.IanShillington@G...> wrote: > Not in this case. > MJ is correct. Eggs (cooked or raw) are a much better source of lecithin than soy. Raw eggs of course still have the enzymes so the lecithin and the protein are processed quicker and more easily. > Love, > Doc > > Ian " Doc " Shillington N.D. > 505-772-5889 > Dr.IanShillington@G...
