It would ease off while my hands were in there, but a few minutes later they were burning again...Gaye I reply to: I kept applying water to it the first time - which you should not do because the cayenne will not react with the water. And even then it would be a turkey shoot. LOL In the same boat I had to let it run its course (never thought of the Aloe at the time ;o). Guest guest Posted July 21, 2003 Report Share Posted July 21, 2003 I really believe my system was on overload with toxins, mucus, etc....From antibiotics, hormones, diet, etc...I am not nearly as sensitive as I once was....although I haven't TOUched the cayenne again...lol. If I ever do it will definitely be with Gloves...I also think our mucous membranes serve as barriers against the heat...thus why it doesn't burn internally.
