Try looking through the files section hon, there is a wealth of info there. The first think for you would be to get Doc's tape and listen to it, then phone him. Look at the Dragon Snot recipe in the files, this would be of primary concern to you. It is the best nutrition all around, I have never found anything even comparable to it :-)

[herbal remedies] New member seeking advice for anxiety and panic disorders

Hi, I just found this list and am so glad I did. I have been interested in herbal healing for years but haven't done enough studying or practicing to be well informed. I have been taking St. John's Wart for about 5 years for depression and it has worked very well. I also suffer from panic and anxiety and about 2 months ago began taking 5 HTP for it. I used it for 3 weeks and my depression came back and I was more anxious. I stopped using it and about a week later I still felt worse and I took Kava Kava, which effected me worse than the 5HTP. I only took it 3 times, then read of how badly it can effect some people, so I stopped and went to the doctor. He put me on Zoloft and Xanax. I only took the Zoloft for 5 days because it made me more anxious and I just stopped the Xanax yesterday because I'm worried about how it's effecting me. I only took the Xanax for about 2 weeks, and it was the lowest dose so I don't think I should have withdrawls. After trying these medications I feel worse than ever. My anxiety has increased, I have tension headaches, I'm having trouble sleeping, and I've developed a bladder infection. So, I'm seeking advice for a couple of things. 1. Does anyone know of an herb or herbal remedy which helps with panic/anxiety disorders? I heard Inositol works in large doses, although it's a B vitamin I was curious if anyone knows of it? 2. What's a good cleansing remedy to rid my body of all these toxins and help it to heal? All advice will be appreciated. Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. 2. If you are pregnant, consult your physician before using any natural remedy. 3. The Constitution guarantees you the right to be your own physician and toprescribe for your own health. We are not medical doctors although MDs are welcome to post here as long as they behave themselves. Any opinions put forth by the list members are exactly that, and any person following the advice of anyone posting here does so at their own risk. It is up to you to educate yourself. Stacia,

total tonic is the best natural antibiotic you can use. As for a nerve sedative - check out the one in the files, under Dr. Ian Shillington...

---I need to clear something up here. I am not on any prescription medication now. I took the Zoloft for 5 days and stopped without any trouble other than increased anxiety which taking it caused. I stopped the Xanax after taking it for less than 2 weeks, but it was a 3 week prescription on the lowest dose that I was supposed to stop abruptly once it ran out. I saw the doctor today and stopping everything like I did was OK by him because of the short duration I took it. He did not recommend any natural treatments but said he thought I should try Paxil. I said no thanks, it was just on the news as causing children and teens to commit suicide. He said not to believe the news. I know my M.D. is not going to be knowledgable in natural healing which is why I am here. I was givin antibiotics for the bladder infection I got as a result of the

meds, and other than that there's nothing he can do for my other symptoms other than prescribed more hard core meds. I would like to consult the Dr. here but I think he's on vacation. Everyone's advice is appreciated and welcomed though.
