Hi Everyone,

It has been a long time since I have posted to the list or maybe I have not

at all, I just don't remember for sure, but have been here for a long time.

This is going to several lists as we need help badly here. Our middle

daughter that has Austism and it very high functioning, is really driving

us crazy with contamination issues, food issues such as the food not being

cooked all the way and many more things. I know that it is OCD, I

understand this disorder as she has always had some issue with this from

time to time, but never like this, never like this at all. I know what the

Dr.s are going to tell us and that is that she needs drugs such as SSRIs

(Serotonin Specific Reuptake Inhibitors). I know that they enhance the

activity of serotonin, seemingly this chemical is in need to be increased

in this disorder. Basically antidepressants and I don't want to put my 13

year old child on these, as it is I am taking Celexa for depression, but

not so sure that it is helping me but with sleeping, but the herbs that I

was taking did not help during this part of my life .... Anyway... I was

wondering if anyone that is more familiar with combos of herbs, knows of

any for this disorder. ????? We are at our wits end with this and it has

only gotten really bad in the last 2 weeks, after almost a year of me being

treated for Breast Cancer, seems this has come out of the blue. Please

email me at rcsoap and Thank You for any help you can

give. TTYS :-)

What about Co-enzyme Q10 and pantothenic acid? Co-enzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a powerful antioxidant and a nutritional energizer. It is essential for the production of cellular energy and pantothenic acid is important for serotonin production
