There are a couple of you should check out about

vaccinating. One is TruthAboutVaccines and

the other is jstsayno2vaccs I am on both

if you need a reference to join. I would also pick up a copy of Don

Hamilton's book " Homeopathic Care for Cats and Dogs: Small Doses for

Small Animals " (my favorite " pet care " book with an EXCELLENT chapter

about vaccines), " What Vets Don't Tell You About Vaccines " by Catherine

O'Driscoll and one I haven't read yet but am planning on getting is

" Vaccine Guide for Dogs and Cats: What Every Pet Lover Should Know " by

Catherine Diodati.

 

For raw diets, I recommend http://www.catnutrition.org and

http://www.felinefuture.com.

The I belong to feeds raw based on the Feline Future recipe.

They are a very friendly and helpful bunch. The group is at

felinefuturediet. There is another

group called " RawCats " , too. If you can, feed your cat a premium canned

food for now - anything is better than kibble! Here's a link to an

hi,

 

wow this is all really interesting to me...i guess i spent so much

time trying to get myself educated on my own health that i really

neglected my cat's. i feed them iams...which is not organic and i'm

sure is pretty awful now that i actually think about it...i thought i

was doing them some huge service b/c i don't feed them purina....lol.

 

anyway i was wondering if anyone has a site they would suggest both

about raw food diets for cats but especially about vaccines. my cats

are due for their shots in november...and while i totally am of the

mindset that i would never get my kids vaccinated...i still have been

taking my cats yearly...i would just like to educate myself more on

this issue.
