Never EVER rely use a blood test to test for mercury toxicity. Also, a hair tst MUST be intrprettd properly, as mercury will typically show up rather low on the test, because there are not recent exposures showing up on the hair test. Mercruy lodges deeply n the organs and nervous system and does not readily surface. What is typically looked for is the deranged mineral transport which accompanies merucry toxicity, along with other elevated minerals/ metals.
