We had condensed it for the VacLib Letter and the August Idaho Observer but at least you get the idea that vaccines have a very shady history and our pets need to also be vaccine-free. ~Ingri Rabies Radio AddressBy Millicent Morden, Physician and SurgeonI am a medical doctor, realizing that animals are entirely different from human beings in their reaction to drugs and diseases. I have served, without pay, as an experimental animal in order to help humanity.The fits and foamings and droolings which are called rabies can be inflicted on animals by improper methods. I have never seen a case of genuine rabies, nor have I met anyone who has during a search of five different countries.Rabies is a disease of politics. The Department of Health should not be annoyed with this old superstition, which is a relic from the time when devils ran to and from man and animal carrying diseases.Black and white evidence is available to show that a campaign was planned and is being carved out to compel the injections of all cows as well as dogs throughout the nation … BIG BUSINESS!Mad foxes are said to be biting the cows, east, west, north and south. In parts of New York State some people are terror stricken; others tell me the real mad foxes ride in high powered cars and live on Park Avenue.In Pasteur’s time a favorite method of diagnosis was to inject rats and rabbits with the saliva of the supposed mad dog. The animals died in horrible rabic convulsions. The doctors then tried some saliva from their own mouths and, Lo, the animals died in similar convulsions. This method of diagnosis was then discontinued but, lately, the rat method has reappeared.Nothing has ever been found in the head or body of a human being or animal to indicate that there is such a disease as rabies.The Negri bodies (tiny black specks) are found in the brain cells in man and animal in a variety of conditions. (They might be in yours this minute.) This is a fact beyond argument. Even in Pasteur’s time, workers in his laboratory admitted to Dr. Elmer Lee and Dr. Stillman and others that they mean nothing.Grabbing the dog to examine its head is a smoke screen. Before this was done we have a list of persons who died following the Pasteur treatment while the dogs that bit them remained alive and well.The dog has no rabies to give you and could not give it to you if he had. This, the scientific laboratories have proven but money keeps that fact from the public.Studies of the blood and tissue show that because a human being has no dog flesh he cannot possibly suffer a dog disease. If this were possible we humans would have all been dead of distemper.Dr. Dulles of Philadelphia offered a reward of $3,000 for a genuine case of rabies over a period of 23 years. He was called to all parts of the country. A letter shortly before his death states, “I have never seen a case of rabies or hydrophobia.”On several occasions I entered the room where the victim was strapped down, and in addition, was being held during convulsions, by from one to six attendants. I unstrapped the victim, dismissed the attendants and assured the patient that there was no such disease. Quick recovery followed.The written statements from several animal Shelters which handled many million dogs over a period of years state that they had never seen a case of rabies. Have the dogs suddenly changed?When a man was less money-mad, rabies was cured by the “kiss of a king.” Later, the mad stone placed over the wound would drag the madness out. Another popular cure was to eat or bind on a hair from the dog that bit you. Later, extract of wild cockroach cured rabies.At the time of Pasteur, politics started to interfere with the science of medicine and rabies remedies took a turn to the dreadful. From that time to the present the so-called anti-rabic injections have been, and are extracted from the mashed up brains and spinal cords of animals that have been tortured to death. The new method of taking serum from a tortured horse is no safer.These injections have proven dangerous to man and animals. Dogs have died by the hundreds in mass inoculations. Fortunately, distilled water is sometimes substituted.Dr. William A. Bruette of New York, formally with the Animal Industry, Washington D.C. states, “Who disregards the reports of government pathologists and testimony of the leading bacteriologists in this and other countries of the dangers attendant upon the use of rabies vaccines, is a menace to the community in which he lives.”If bitten by a dog, do not fear. Suck and squeeze as you would any other wound. No matter how dirty the wound, do not use anything stronger than mild soap and water. Cauterization is too shocking to the tissues and might lead to trouble in a hypersensitive person.Dr. Buisson of France had been sadly bitten by a dog and was given up to die of hydrophobia. He recited that his fear was of course as intense as his suffering. He decided to relieve his suffering by a warm bath. After soaking for one and a quarter hours, his convulsions disappeared and he became well. He cured all other cases which came to him in a similar way. The Buisson baths were employed with great success in France in so-called rabies cases.Under no circumstances would I give or receive the Pasteur treatment. This weird concoction has killed dogs by the hundreds. We all know several individual cases of death. I would sooner kill a dog than ruin it for life. Again I say this voodoo mixture could not cure or prevent anything. Prevent so-called rabies by vital food, drink and proper care.A little over 150 years ago the witchcraft cruelties were ended in this country, not by science, not by the church, not by the law, but by the public demanding investigation.Let the public of today demand a free press and radio on the rabies question. Public meetings and the investigation of animal welfare work is necessary.Demand the lifting of rabies quarantines and the removal from school books that which is false about Pasteur.In 1760 the famous author Oliver Goldsmith in the Citizen of the World gives us stories of mad geese and goes on to say that his landlady awakened him earlier than usual. With looks of horror and astonishment, she begged him to remain indoors as a mad dog in the country had bit a farmer who, soon becoming mad ran into his yard and bit a fine brindled cow.
