Guest guest
" Pepperoni is America's favorite topping, (36% of all pizza orders). We eat approximately 251,770,000 pounds of Pepperoni per year. Other popular pizza toppings are, mushrooms, extra cheese, sausage, green pepper and onions. " 251,770,000 pounds = approx. 126,000 tons = 21,000 adult elephants (figured on each elephant weighing 12,000 pounds) Pepperoni is loaded with nitrites, which, when digested convert to potent carcinogens called nitrosamines. Many of those who are eating all that pepperoni are children. What might it do to the numbers of childhood cancers if parents stopped feeding their children pepperoni, hot dogs, salami and other processed meats containing nitrites, dyes and bad fats?
