Guest guest
Hi everyone! My daughter's best friend was in a car accident a week ago where her head hit the side window. She was in an induced coma but the drugs have been changed and she is still in a coma. She had bleeding inside the skull. They did surgery to reduce the pressure where a piece of her skull was removed. They said that went well and there was no new bleeding. But there are apparently still serious problems with the pressure around her brain. They don't know if she will live or not. There isn't a chair for family or friends in the room and so people don't usually stay long. I was just thinking that I had read that the more they heard the voices of loved ones the more likely they are to come out of the comma. I did a search and found several sites about this. Do you think this is true? Is reading OK or does it need to be conversation? I wouldn't want to do anything that could be considered by anyone to be harmful, but do you have any other suggestions? And I would only suggest them to her parents, but her Dad is a chiropractor who is familiar with essential oils. The EODR suggested a few oils. How would you suggest they be used, if at all, in intensive care? Thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers. Her name in Denielle Minori. Guest guest
Asking for any and all suggestions. I stated that the Dad (a chiropractor) should certainly be right up there in medical consultations. Suggested conversation...memories, hopes, dreams. When conversation runs out, reading...Bible or books from another religion. I don't know how old she is or anything more than what is written here. Also suggested music. Either a radio or cassette player. Possibly with headphones or an ear piece. Also TOUCH Thanks... Peace and good health, MaryKaye === {{{{{Karen, This is a tough one. I am not familiar with any suggestions, including alternative methods. I will pass this on to others, not just for this situatiation, but for me to learn in case someone responds... This would, indeed, be a heck of a disclosure. Jack FORUM_FOR_DISCLOSURES/ Fernwoods wrote: Hi everyone! My daughter's best friend was in a car accident a week ago where her head hit the side window.
