Guest guest
Dear Group, We get around a hundred new members a month and for the most part we welcome them into our community. The more people who can contribute with meaningful information the more that we all benefit. We try and provide a good base for research and learning for our members. We have over 24,000 articles/messages that can be reached and searched in our archives. We have a member who has also posted the archives on his site so they can be downloaded to your computer and searched with a program he has made available. We have a links library on our links page that lists many noncommercial alternative health sites that have further information about m,any subjects. We also have some files in our files section that are there for members to read. We have another online message board that is broken down by subject matter that has many articles that are easily read. We also have a wealth of people ( almost 2000 members) in our group who have many different backgrounds some in science, some in various branches of medicine, etc. This group is basically a resource for those who are interested and willing to embark on a journey of self education and learn what comprises real health and healing. With 100 new people a month it is usually beyond the scope of this group that it take the responsibility that each new member learns and take on the responsibility to teach each new member what they need to know. Out of necessity most of us have come to the conclusion that we have to become our own doctors. I cannot take the responsibility for your health and in reality no one else in the group can actually do that for you either. That is not to say that people who have severe acute problems can't ask for help. I think that many people here want to help and please ask for it if you need it and you need it fast. As to the questions of a more mundane nature, you are really expected to do a little research on your own. After that if you have something good please share it with the group or after researching it, if there is something that you do not understand, then is the time to ask questions. The group cannot become your substitute allopathic style doctor who you can turn over your health problems to, with no effort on your part, and expect the group to solve them for you, although we are here to provide support and help when we can. We are all on this quest together, some just started a little sooner. ou can catch up and then you will have that knowledge the rest of your life and your families lives.
