Also what about eating habits that promote pancreatic health or herbs like juniper berry, parsley, ginger, uva ursi, marshmallow, goldenseal? I'm newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic. I'm on 2 tablets of metformin a day and I'm down to 25% body fat and working at getting it down further. I've incorporated flax seeds into my diet also.
