HOW THE ELECTION WAS STOLEN

Allen L Roland, Ph.D.

One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we've been bamboozled long

enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We're no longer

interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It is

simply too painful to acknowledge -- even to ourselves -- that we've been so

credulous: Carl Sagan

I want to know the truth and I'm not afraid to acknowledge that it appears

that we have been bamboozled again in this election.

There is too much evidence and I'm throwing a red flag on the field . Let's

take a timeout, have an instant replay and review the evidence from all

angles and then make an informed decision. The stakes are too high .

Here's what makes me very uncomfortable;

1. WASHINGTON -- November 4 -- Teresa Fedor, [via Greg Lestini,

glestini]

Ohio State Senator Teresa Fedor said today: " There was trouble with our

elections in Ohio at every stage. It's been a battle getting people

registered to vote, getting to the ballot on voting day and getting that

vote to count. There is a pattern of voter suppression; that's why I called

for [Ohio Secretary of State] Blackwell's resignation more than a month ago.

Blackwell, while claiming to run an unbiased elections process, was also the

co-chair of the Bush-Cheney campaign in Ohio. Additionally, he was the

spokesperson for the anti-business, anti-family constitutional amendment

'Issue 1,' and a failed initiative to repeal a crucial sales-tax revenue

source for the state. Blackwell learned his moves from the Katherine Harris

playbook of Florida 2000, and we won't stand for it. "

2. Susan Truitt, susan.truitt, www.caseohio.org Co-founder

of the Citizens Alliance for Secure Elections, Truitt said today: " Seven

counties in Ohio have electronic voting machines and none of them have paper

trails. That alone raises issues of accuracy and integrity as to how we can

verify the count. A recount without a paper trail is meaningless; you just

get a regurgitation of the data. Last year, Blackwell tried to get the

entire state to buy new machines without a paper trail. The exit polls,

virtually the only check we have against tampering with a vote without a

paper trail, had shown Kerry with a lead. ... A poll worker told me this

morning that there were no tapes of the results posted on some machines; on

other machines the posted count was zero, which obviously shouldn't be the

case. "

3. Bob Fitrakis, rfitraki An attorney who monitored the election

with the Election Protection Coalition, Fitrakis said today: " There were far

fewer machines in the inner-city districts than in the suburbs. I documented

at least a dozen people leaving because the lines were so long in

African-American areas. Blackwell did a great deal of suppressing before the

election -- like attempting to refuse to process voter registration forms.

The absentee ballots were misleading in Franklin County. Kerry was the third

line down, but you had to punch number four to vote for him. Bush was

getting both his votes as well as Kerry's. "

2. John Zogby, considered to be the ‘gold standard’ of presidential polling,

predicted that John Kerry and John Edwards would win with over 300 electoral

votes. Following Zogby’s prediction to the letter, the preponderance of the

exit polling stated that John Kerry would carry all of the major

battleground states: Florida, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Ohio, Michigan,

Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Oregon. These exit polls were interpreted as

further confirmation of Zogby’s final predictions.

3. When comparing the exit polls to the actual " official " final results, it

appears that EVERY state that had electronic voting, without paper trails,

had an " unexplained " advantage for Bush of about 5%.

And it appears that EVERY STATE that had paper trails on their Electronic

Voting, the exit poll results match the actual results reported within the

margin of error.

So it appears that they remotely electronically messed with the electronic

voting results in every state where they could get away with it (because

there was no paper trail to disprove it in those states).

See these striking voting comparison graphs:

http://bellaciao.org/en/article.php3?id_article=4175

Does this sound like something Karl Rove might do to guarantee a victory for

Bush ? Don't answer ~ it's a rhetorical question.

SO HOW WAS THE ELECTION TECHNICALLY STOLEN ? Roz Hill /

http://rense.com/general59/steI.HTM / explains how easy it is to steal an

election with paperless electronic voting machines.

So, here are the numbers (so far): 112,596,922 voters counted in the

presidential race. Bush has been consistently polling at 45%, which SHOULD

have given him 50,668,614 votes, instead of 58,073,612. This translates into

7,404,998 votes being siphoned off from Kerry votes. Now, how does that

magic work???

Taxpayers get hit with a bill for $3600 (or more) for EACH of the

touch-screen " voting " computers, which are nothing more than dedicated

COUNTERS except that they are marketed by Republicans (who vowed to ensure

Bush's victory); and the American people have not been allowed to examine or

certify the software in these units. Here is how easy it is to " make magic "

We need COUNTERS - (B) = Bush; (K) = Kerry; (V) = Vote; (T) = Tally 1. If V

= B, add 1 to B 2. If T = 8, add 1 to B; Clear T; Skip 3 3. If V = K, add 1

to K; Add 1 to T This extremely simple bit of programming would shift 12%

of the vote from Kerry to Bush, it would defy exit polls, and it would make

it look like Bush had a huge popular win ~ which is precisely what happened.

At this point ~ why has no one raised the spectre of criminality or a

criminal conspiracy to inflate votes for Bush and deflate tallies for Kerry

via hacking the computerized voting machines.

In addition ~ it is highly suspicious to note that the scale of Bush’s vote

far exceeded the best of the pre-election polling ~ which could certainly be

explained by this scenario.

Time out is over and you've seen the evidence .

Is it too painful to acknowlege that we have been bamboozled or are you

going to demand the truth ?

Our Democracy is at stake.

The head of the Ohio Democratic Party said Ohio Democrats are not

willing to concede the election. They are in the process of

investigating the innumerable incidents of vote fraud. May seek

criminal prosecution in some cases. Story still pending...

In other states, there are similar proposals underway by the

Surprising Pattern of Florida's Election Results --Expected votes would

normally vary from the actual votes due to increased voter turnout or other

factors. What seems very odd in these numbers is that the increase in actual

votes from expected votes has a striking pattern of being so much higher for

Republicans than that for Democrats in counties using optical scan voting

machines.

Exit polls match results where paper ballots were used --An *amazing* set of

graphs, indicating a near match of the exit polls to actual results in

states where paper ballots were used. In states where electronic 'voting'

was implemented, exit polling was off by a country mile.

Oops! More fuzzy math in Ohio... Franklin County, Ohio --A total of 638

votes were cast in the precinct: Bush received 4258 of them, Kerry got 260.

See page 23 of the 'Unofficial Abstract of Votes - General Election -

November 2, 2004, Franklin County, Ohio Offices.' UPDATE! November 5, 2004:

Glitch [Rove's Brownshirts] gave Bush extra votes in Ohio --Rove's

Brownshirts ['An error with an electronic voting system'] gave Dictator Bush

3,893 extra votes in suburban Columbus, elections officials said. Franklin

County's unofficial results had Bush receiving 4,258 votes to Democrat John

Kerry's 260 votes in a precinct in Gahanna. Records show only 638 voters

cast ballots in that precinct. Bush actually received 365 votes in the

precinct, Matthew Damschroder, director of the Franklin County Board of

Elections, told The Columbus Dispatch.

Quote of the day: " Opponents had held a lead of about 1,000 votes until the

batch of votes from Broward 'fell out of the sky.' " --Rep. Randy Johnson,

Florida Republican and chair of No Casinos

Kerry won. Here's the facts. (tompaine.com) Bush won Ohio by 136,483 votes.

Typically in the United States, about 3 percent of votes cast are

voided—known as " spoilage " in election jargon—because the ballots cast are

inconclusive. Drawing on what happened in Florida and studies of elections

past, Palast argues that if Ohio’s discarded ballots were counted, Kerry

would have won the state. Today, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports there

are a total of 247,672 votes not counted in Ohio, if you add the 92,672

discarded votes plus the 155,000 provisional ballots. So far there's no

indication that Palast's hypothesis will be tested because only the

provisional ballots are being counted. --by Greg Palast " Most voters in Ohio

thought they were voting for Kerry. CNN's exit poll showed Kerry beating

Bush among Ohio women by 53 percent to 47 percent. Kerry also defeated Bush

among Ohio's male voters 51 percent to 49 percent. Unless a third gender

voted in Ohio, Kerry took the state. So what's going on here? Answer: the

exit polls are accurate. Pollsters ask, 'Who did you vote for?'

Unfortunately, they don't ask the crucial, question, 'Was your vote counted?

"

Carteret 'loses' 4,530 votes --Forget the old adage. Every vote doesn’t

count in Carteret County. After candidates and voters awaited Tuesday’s

election results for more than five hours after polls closed, the County

Board of Elections announced a major computer problem that wiped out 4,530

of the 7,537 early votes cast at the elections office, an error admitted by

the system’s manufacturer. While the company told the county the unit used

for early voting could store up to 10,500 votes, it could only handle 3,005.

But there were 7,537 early votes cast Oct. 14-30.

Computer May Have " Lost " 4,500 N.C. Votes --More than 4,500 votes may be

lost " in one North Carolina county because officials believed a computer

that stored ballots electronically could hold more data than it did.

Scattered other problems may change results in local races around the state.

[Why are the problems limited to 'local' ones???]

Broward Vote-Counting Blunder Changes Amendment Result (FL) The Broward

County Elections Department has egg on its face today after a computer

glitch misreported a key amendment race, according to Local 10 political

reporter Michael Putney. Broward County Mayor Ilene Lieberman says voting

counting error is an " embarrassing mistake. " Amendment 4, which would allow

Miami-Dade and Broward counties to hold a future election to decide if slot

machines should be allowed at racetracks, was thought to be tied. But now

that a computer glitch for machines counting absentee ballots has been

exposed, it turns out the amendment passed.

Slots measure for S. Fla. tracks wins approval --A proposal that opens the

door to slot machines at race tracks and jai alai frontons in South Florida

won approval Thursday, avoiding a possible recount after elections officials

in Broward County discovered thousands of absentee votes that were ignored

by a programming error. Opponents had held a lead of about 1,000 votes until

the batch of votes from Broward " fell out of the sky,'' said Rep. Randy

Johnson, a central Florida Republican who chairs No Casinos.

Ohio Stolen (blog entry, gnn.tv) 2004-11-03 16:26:30 " Greg Palast and Randi

Rhodes reported today that the state of Ohio was stolen by the Republicans

in election 2004. Ohio was the critical state that tipped the balance,

giving the presidency to Bush. Turns out one County in Ohio, equipped with

Diebold electronic voting machines, reported NEGATIVE 25,000 votes. Wha?!?

That’s what at least one election official in Ohio said. The votes from that

County are lost. Not counted. GONE! "

Fixed - The Stealing of Another Election (Democraticunderground.com) --by

EarlG --Kerry winning Exit Polls -- " FRAUD LOOKS PROBABLE --SoCalDem has done

a statistical analysis... ...on several swing states, and EVERY STATE that

has EVoting but no paper trails has an unexplained advantage for Bush of

around +5% when comparing exit polls to actual results. In EVERY STATE that

has paper audit trails on their EVoting, the exit poll results match the

actual results reported within the margin of error. So, we have MATCHING

RESULTS for exit polls vs. voting with audits vs. A 5% unexplained advantage

for Bush without audits. "

Exit Poll Director Claims Exit Polling Was Accurate --The exit polling was

correct, maintains Joe Lenski of Edison Media Research, which conducted

Tuesday's exit poll with Mitofsky International for the National Election

Pool, a consortium of the major television networks and the Associated Press

" No wrong projections [of winners] were made; the projections were spot on,

he said. " The members used this data with sophistication and understanding

of what data can and cannot be used for. "

As you know, the US media is bought and paid for by the same people who

want Bush in power. If you have any way of getting this to the international

media, we need your help!

God bless,

Alone in Ohio, officials cited homeland security

Alone in Ohio, officials cited homeland security --Warren's vote tally walled

off --Citing concerns about potential terrorism [?!!?], Warren County

officials locked down the county administration building on election night and

blocked anyone from observing the vote count as the nation awaited Ohio's

returns.

County officials say they took the action Tuesday night for homeland security,

although state elections officials said they didn't know of any other Ohio

county that closed off its elections board. Media organizations protested,

saying

it violated the law and the public's rights. The Warren results, delayed for

hours because of long lines that extended voting past the scheduled close of

polls, were part of the last tallies that helped clinch Dictator Bush's

re-selection.
