I've heard they can turn a > baby by stimulating certain points.. > Hi group, We had ours at home -many years ago now, and so we did a lot of research and spent much time with birth helpers , especially the first one (she is now 25) such a learning curve! sheila kitzinger was one author i remember discussing how to turn breech babies, but we found a kindly old doctor that spent his time delivering babies at home-dr. john stevenson, a truly wonderful man! All he did , for many years was that.I recall that he knew some gentle exercises (more like positions really) that encouaged the baby to turn. According to the birth helpers, these usually worked well, but i do not remember them now.
