International Harmonization

The harmonization of laws, regulations and standards between and among

trading partners requires intense, complex, time-consuming negotiations

by CFSAN officials. Harmonization must simultaneously facilitate

international trade and promote mutual understanding, while protecting

national interests and establish a basis to resolve food issues on sound

scientific evidence in an objective atmosphere. Failure to reach a

consistent, harmonized set of laws, regulations and standards within the

freetrade agreements and the World Trade Organization Agreements can

result

in considerable economic repercussions.

Consider what FDA is saying here in the context of the fact that FDA

employee Christine Lewis Taylor is " on loan " from the FDA to the WHO

where she and a group of 18 " experts " that she picked via a totally non

transparent selection process which exluded everyone from our side

will be

FILLING IN THE BLANKS on allowable potency levels at CODEX in MAY,

(just before Codex moves to RATIFY the global standard for vitamins and

minerals in Rome between July 4-9th at the 28th General Session of Codex.

 

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO STOP THIS EUGENICS AGENDA

 

1. Call the Whitehouse Comments line to complain. Ask President Bush to

reign in Christine Lewis Taylor of the FDA who is clearly trying to set

us up to lose in a WTO Trade Dispute whereby our dietary supplement

laws can be harmonized to this mindless Codex standard.

2. Call Congress to complain about the same thing via 202-225-3121, and

when they attempt to regurgitate the FDA's spin on the issue (which is

that this is a " non issue " ) tell them you're not buying it and that

you're going to drive the person's boss out of office.

 

3. Help IAHF to Break through the SPIN against our message by reading

this article of mine and by widely forwarding it. Much of the spin

against my message is coming from pharma dominated vitamin trade

associations especially CRN.

 

This is a response to the spin which Mark LeDoux, Board Member of CRN

has been effectively using to lead a slew of network marketing companies

to the CLIFF:

Members of NNFA are being led to the cliff by almost identical spin

coming from Randy Dennin of IADSA who is co chair of NNFA's International

Committee.

 

4. I will be at Expo West vitamin trade show next week from March 17-20

where I have rented a room to hold an Emergency Meeting in as part of a

LAST DITCH effort to awaken supplement manufacturers to their plight.

 

It cost me a bundle to rent this room, and I am barely earning a living

doing this health freedom work. Please donate to IAHF to help me cover

expenses of renting this expensive 2 BR Family Suite with a Living Room

to hold this emergency meeting in, and to help cover my trip expenses.

Some larger donations would be very welcome and helpful at this time.

shot on the top of a 400' sheer cliff to dramatize our plight, and also

at the Emergency Health Freedom meeting at ACAM in November, I'd be
