Systemic yeast infection & /or itchy skin is a sign of a problem with the liver being overtaxed. Yeast is a natural part of the body's defense system. When it starts to take over it is because it is overloaded in its task of keeping bacteria viruses etc at bay. That is part of the job of the liver. Once it gets overloaded, the only solution is to clean out the body & not introduce new toxins so the body can heal itself & restore balance. This link explains the role of the liver http://www.liverdoctor.com/newsletter/edition1.0/importantliver.asp So you need to ask what is going into the body? Dr Sandra Cabot's book " The Liver Cleansing Diet " Dr Ann Louise Gittleman's " Fat Flush Plan " http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com http://health.candidasupport/ * lots of free info & support at the above 2 links. Bottom line is it comes down to altering lifestyle. Eating only high quality proteins, complex carbs in limited amounts & healthy oils. The biggest thing is no white death - sugar flour etc It only feeds the yeast & zaps your energy. NO caffeine, alcohol etc It is in his hands. Is he willing to do the work to turn his health around?
