I would try gargling with 2 oz. of warm water and 2 teaspoons of 10ppm colloidal

silver, swallowing the water after each gargle. Do this twice a day until

problem clears up.

I haven't had it for a while, but had very good results with Golden Seal

herb when I start using it at the first sign of trouble. You can gargle

with it too, but don't expect a great taste experience. Golden Seal should

not be used ongoing; I think two weeks is about as long as it can be safely

used. (Herbalists, please advise.) You might want some help from your

healthcare practitioner; step throat can make you pretty sick. I use my

doctor as a backup when I cannot get results naturally.

Hi Lauren,

I have had strep throat and tonsilitis almost yearly for more than 3

decades now.

I used to take antibiotics every time, but I finally saw the light.

This is what I do:

At the first tickle or pain in my throat, I gargle intensely with 1/2

peroxide and water. Next I put straight peroxide in each ear and let it

bubble in there for at least one minute, before dumping it out and

drying my ears. The ears are connected to the throat by the eustation

tube, and an old doctor proved a long time ago that colds are

transmitted between people thru the ear canals, not the eyes, or nose.

The symptoms show up in the throat, eyes and nose first before being

moved into the lungs and stomach. Strep may also be transmitted the

same way.

Next I go thru my " medicine " chest and dig out the olive leaf extract,

(which I make myself), and the Grapefruit Seed Extract, the oregano oil,

and the colloidal silver. I gargle with 2 or 3 drops of GSE in about 3

ounces of water, and rinse our my mouth with it and hold it in my mouth

while I go about getting dressed or whatever I'm doing. Its very bitter

and if you use it any stronger it will numbify your taste buds for a

couple of days. You wont be able to taste salt or some other flavors

during that time.

I take a couple of drops of GSE by filling my mouth with juice or some

flavored beverage and dripping 1 drop into my mouth and swallowing

immediately. I also take at least 3 caps of olive leaf ext with each

meal, and a couple of caps a day of oregano oil.

I rotate gargling with straight colloidal silver, GSE and water, and

peroxide and water.

An old Bolivian gentleman told me once that ground sage spice in hot

water would stop throat pain, and he was absolutley rite. If you like

the taste of sage, this gargle will stop the pain almost immediately.

Buy the best olive leaf extract you can get, and keep it onhand for

other infections, it works faster than prescription antibiotics.
